Spent two nights here in May 2015 and loved it! Location is a short walk from the bus station and is right on the Camino de Santiago. It's on the 2nd floor of an apartment building next to Peregrinoteca, an outdoor supply store for pilgrims and hikers.||||Make sure you email or call the day before to let her know when you're coming. The Pension isn't usually staffed, but she'll meet you there if she knows when you're coming (she's close by). If you arrive by car, there's free parking but please let her know as a reservation is necessary.||||We reserved Room 2, a double room with shared bath. There are three rooms: a double with private bath, and a double and twin with shared bath.||||Our room was quiet and tastefully decorated. Plenty of light for reading. TV in the room, but we never turned it on. It was fun to watch the pilgrims walk past on the Camino.||||Shared bath was very large and spotlessly clean! Nice shower. Basic toiletries included accompany your soft towels. No hair dryer.||||Breakfast is not included. The kitchen area as spacious and well-appointed, so whatever you get at the nearby market or bakery can be stored. Was very appreciative of the coffee and stove top espresso maker in the morning. Fridge for your use, as well as stove and pots/pans. Towels, too. We were able to make dinner as well as a small lunch for us to take our first day on the Camino.||||Common lounge/living room area is spacious with sofa/chairs and perfect for relaxing if you're several people staying in the Pension or if you don't want to hang out in the kitchen or your room.||||Internet is free (password) but was a bit temperamental when we were there. We would reset the router and it would work fine again until the next morning (usually).||||There's also a grocery store within a short walk (5 minutes) as well as many restaurants, the Malecon, and shops, bakeries, etc. Everything you need is within steps away!||||Spanish language skills are very helpful.||||If you have time, go to Samos (12km away) to visit the Monastery. She advised we do it and we were very thankful! Next time we'd take a cab there and walk back as it ended up being 18.5 miles (29.77 km) round trip but we enjoyed the scenery.||||If we return to Sarria we would certainly...

Read moreThis is the second time I have spent two nights here while walking the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.||||Location is right on the Camino and is also a short walk away from many restaurants, shops, and the bus station (with connections to Lugo).||||Please advise her of your anticipated arrival time as she isn't onsite but only 5-10 minutes away. Secure building.||||Apartment-style accommodations with only three bedrooms (a double ensuite, a double with shared bath, and a room with 2 twins with shared bath). All guests have access to shared kitchen for making meals, fridge/stove for coffee, etc. Also a nice living room for relaxing at night. Super soft towels. Daily housekeeping.||||This year I stayed with a friend in Room #3, two twin beds with a shared bath. Perfect for our needs. Internet worked flawlessly throughout the apartment.||||The only way this could be improved is if there was a hair dryer available in the bathroom.||||There's a washing machine but please ask permission is you want to use it.||||Location is on the second floor of the building right next to Peregrinoteca (shop). Walk out the front door, turn right, and you're on the Camino!||||I'd definitely...
