Payet Apartments 4-6 Persones — Hotel in Torroella de Montgrí

Fantastic value|We stayed here for a week as two adults and two kids.|The location is a block off the beach and a five minute stroll to the bulk of restaurants and shops though there are plenty in the immediate vicinity including a supermarket.||As pointed out previously they don't come with more then a minimum amount of provisions but we knew this and had brought some with us and yes the sheets are left folded on the beds and you make them yourself. Again as pointed out there are four floors so if mobility is an issue let them know. Climbing to the third floor the first day I thought it could get tiring in the heat but was a complete non issue. ||That said the apartments are cheaper and better located and very comfortable with quality fittings beds ac etc. They were also very quiet other than music coming from a beach concert one night. ||Downstairs there is a fantastic pool bar called Reces where a pizza is ten euro, a pint 4.50 and it's open from 9am till later then my bed time. The pool is 18 metres long so I was able to get in for nine and do a 2km swim each morning before it got busy. We were always able to get loungers.||The staff are extremely friendly and plenty speak English, we had two issues and both times everything was sorted very quickly.||I think I'd like to come to L'Estartit again and will give no higher praise then to say I won't look beyond Payet apartments (we booked directly through their site) and Reces snack bar. If during the summer I won't rent a car though, parking isn't very plentiful though we were lucky to get a space within the complex and never move it till we left again. A little out of season I'm sure I'd make more use of it and the town would have more...

I stayed in this apartment for 4 nights with a group of 3 other ladies who were all over 60 years of age and we were given the top floor so had to walk a number of stairs to reach the apartment. Extremely basic apartment - no towels, no soap provided and only half a toilet roll. There were also a number of cracked tiles so the place was in desperate need of refurbishment. They also couldn't be bothered to make up the beds. Reasonably clean but not immaculate. Appreciate it didn't cost the earth to stay there, however, I've never experienced such poor amenities from a self-catering establishment. Suffice to say I won't be staying...

Appartamento completo. Praticamente non serve nulla. La cucina è completa con pentole ,piatti ,ecc ,era tutto nuovo. Abbiamo trovato anche un kit con una spugna, una bottiglietta con detergente, asciugamani per cucina e un sacchetto. C'è ferro da stiro , secchio con mocio, scopa e paletta per pulire. Manca il phon. L'aria condizionata presente nel soggiorno a pagamento 20 euro a settimana. Funziona benissimo. Abbiamo soggiornato al quarto piano che praticamente è un quinto perché al pian terreno c'è il bar/ristorante, ed è stato un può faticoso visto che avendo un cane si doveva portare spesso fuori. Il nostro appartamento aveva 2 camere da letto con 2 letti singoli vicini. Le lenzuola si trovano sul divano nel soggiorno e devi metterle da solo . La signora del ristorante è molto gentile, cortese e professionale, sempre pronta ad aiutarti. Anche se l'appuntamento non è moderno , è semplice,pulito e funzionale. Puoi cucinare sempre qualsiasi cosa perché hai tutto quello che ti serve. La spiaggia dista a 100m e il supermercato che sforna pane e briose calde ,a 50m. La struttura non ha l'ascensore ma ha una bella...
