This review will be based on facts and probably the most honest and reliable review of the current state. Met a lot of people at the hotel with very conflicting experiences, so I guess it depends on what your original expectation or other holidays may cloud the overall trip. I did my research and knew that it would not be the best (or worst), but was still surprised by what was there.||Rooms - very basic, with not much there which you may expect from a 3 star hotel. No kettle, hair dryer (they charge $20 for this), no fridge and worst still could only find a single power socket to charge, which was being used for the TV. Others were not as lucky and had to get extension cords from a plug high up on the wall. The beds were OK, bathroom small and you could not have a bath as could only fit a child. The worse thing about the rooms are the lack of sound insulation from anywhere. Woken almost every night, but people coming back late, doors always slamming, arguments, sex, vomiting. And it was not just a rooms close by, you could hear from severall rooms down. When the noisy neighbours were shouting at 1am, it people two rooms down banging on the wall to silence them. ||Food - Probably the most complaints, as I think the expectations were of great food, but in reality it was very basic and always cold. Breakfast was a selection of meat and cheese, so cant go wrong with that. Pastries were stale or old, and all of the cooked breakfast was cold, no matter when you got there. We were half board, so had option of evening meals, and the wait at the start was huge, and sometimes if you went back 15 mins later, told that no room when there was plenty. The choice of food was not great, and sometimes the leftovers from night before just refried. If you are a vegetarian, there is limited choice from the salad bar, and even the pasta salads have fish or meat in them. Even the tomota sauce for the pasta was dubious if meat was added.||Cleanliness - They did a good job keeping the place clean, rooms made up every day, pool cleaned from the falling leaves, common areas always nice places. But there is the sense that the place is old and could be better||Pool Area - Not too bad considering it was late in the season. Pool not heated, so was refreshing, but could swim in it. Large area for plenty of people to sit, so had a few nice afternoons chilling out||Location - Right next to the bus station, which is great for day trips, along with a good supermarket to stock up on snacks. The outside bar area is on the main road in to Tossa, so can get busy and noisy, but not too bad. It is about a 10 min walk to the main area and beach and a nice way to get out in the evenings||Staff - Helpful at all times, and always approachable to resolve things if they can||In summary, do not expect anything amazing from this hotel. The biggest issues are the lack of sound proofing and able to hear everything and kept awake many night, and the cold food. If you can look past this, it is a cheap place to stay and good base to...

Okay- I thought I was having a bargain, but this is a get what you pay for, I should have paid extra to stay somewhere else. This is 3- many hotels in Tossa are 4. |Hotel itself is generally grubby and out dated- now, this doesn't normally put us off, it's just somewhere to sleep and have a base. But through the week, we had an endless list of why this is probably the worst holiday in 20 years, my husband goes on annual tours with the boys- and this is the worst hotel he's stayed in (& they book cheap)|Room- two single beds that were like bricks, I have orthopaedic hard bed for my back- but this was next level! It was like sleeping on the floor, although, there wasn't enough room! |The end of the bed reached about a foot from the dressing table- above this was the tv- plugged in at the ceiling to the only socket in the room. Not that you need a socket- as there's NO kettle, or hairdryer!||Bathroom- how they got Everything in the tiny space I'll never know, but you couldn't sit back on the toilet, as it was against the wall. And the cracked toilet roll holder cut my upper arm. The shower was in a half bath- with a fabric curtain that stuck to every wet piece of you as you shower! Almost every other tile is cracked. |So we thought, it's mostly cosmetic, not that bed, beds were generally clean. ||Then going to sleep! I have never in my life thought that walls could be that thin! You can hear talking, shouting, being sick- you can even hear next door pee or shower! You can hear the lift bell going everytime the doors opened- & we were last room at the end of the corridor! You can hear people as far as two or three doors down, who werent raising voices, the general chat! We even heard a party (seemed like) on the floor below us! ||Pool- never saw anyone test it, or clean it. Pool has some nice areas of shade under trees, but leaves were left to blow into the pool. Most tiles are uneven, so walk with sandals. |The white edge of the pool has been painted with some kind of paint which- when you sit on the side, flakes off to your skin! Due to wet skin, it would only be removed by showering. Many people around the pool discovered this.|Vodka and coke is 9€ in hotel bar, so pop down the road for a drink.|The first morning, we were glad to wake without bites, because the only thing this hotel is missing is bed bugs 😆 Breakfast is served in a buffet fashion. A good selection if your not fussy. Juices are all watered down, enough to taste like discoloured water!|Dishes were grubby, you went through a few before you'd find a clean one, and give cutlery a wipe with serviette. |We found all the staff at hotel friendly, everyone had a smile (apart from bar man) and wouldn't pass with a hola, or good morning. |Towels were changed most days|First time writing a review- I don't normally, but if I had known this information, I may have saved myself a holiday to remember (for all...

The hotel is in a good location and is only 10 minutes away from the beach. There is also a shop and the bus station is just across the street. The room is okay. They don't have a hairdryer, and the bathroom is a little less than desirable. The beds are not the comfiest. But it is a 3 star hotel so you shouldn't expect more than that. The balcony view is beautiful, and the rooms have a tv and air conditioning. I went for all-inclusive and the food is okay. They always have chips and pizza, so if you don't like the food, there is something for everyone. If you are all inclusive, you need a band, but I wasn't told that on check-in, so for most of my holiday, I missed out on drinks. Just make sure that if you are all-inclusive, you need to ask for the band. The pool area is lovely and is nice and cool for those warm summer days. There are plenty of longe chairs for everyone to sit out on. Finally, I paid €25 for a late check out, but there was a little mix-up where it got lost in translation. However, staff was lovely, and after showing proof of purchase, I was allowed to have a late check out. If you want a late check out, I recommend doing it on the day of check out to avoid confusion. Overall, it was a nice place for a short stay and a good price for the stay you get. Would stay here again as it's good value for money.

This hotel was what one should expect from a three star hotel, breakfast and dinner was served without fuss and minding the odd taste of the food from time to time it was overall a 7/10 experience. Moving onto the rooms once again it was as expected for the money I payed although the balcony auto locked and ended in me and 2 other friends being locked out for 2 days before being found surviving only on the metal table for food and the drain system for water. The ac was effective but if left on throughout the night you would awake within a blizzard as the ac was dare I say to effect causing the room to drop too a chilly 16 degrees. The beds were comfortable but a bit to close for my liking and upon further inspection we found the bed frame to be sturdy and well built. In conclusion I believe this hotel is a 7/10 and is what should be expected from a three star hotel. The picture attached is the view from one of the sides of the hotel.

Man spürt jede Feder.
