First thing I want to say about this place, is that the owner was among the loveliest, most helpful people of our time in Sri Lanka. Someone who will do that little bit extra for you, not for money, or any other incentive, other than being a really nice guy. The location is perfect, you literally can walk out of your room onto the beach. In the morning I joined the owner in helping the fishermen haul in their nets and inspect their catch over the night. If you want a heart warming and authentically local experience, you can't do better. However I have to warn that this is far from luxury. There are a few bugs (probably hard to avoid in a small beach house), there is no AC, and the bed is pretty hard. As i slept I could the ocean waves as it is located near the beach.There is a table and parasol placed outside facing the ocean so I had an amazing view while I had my breakfast.
