New Star Light Hotel — Hotel in Sri Lanka

Location is ideal for catching the sunset at coconut hill. The room is quite comfortable with good facilities. Compared to other budget rooms we stayed in the bed was quite comfy which was really appreciated (rock hard beds seem to be the norm). Fairly basic as to be expected according to price. A view over the tree tops (no sea view). Spotted monkeys from our balcony and fireflies in the alley behind which was nice. Owners were friendly and allowed us to store our bags in their house while we explored, however there were no additional touches (free drinks, warm welcome) which would have made the stay special.
