I recently had the opportunity to stay at this Hotel and I have mixed feelings about my experience. While there were some positive aspects, there were several notable shortcomings that left me disappointed.
Let's start with the room amenities. I was surprised to find that the room lacked basic amenities such as a boiler and coffee-making facilities. As a traveler who relies on a hot cup of coffee in the morning, this was a significant inconvenience. It would have been nice to have these essentials readily available in the room, as it is a standard expectation in most hotels.
On a brighter note, the breakfast offered at the Hotel was quite good. There was a decent variety of options, and the quality of the food was satisfactory. The breakfast staff was attentive and friendly, which added to the positive experience.
However, the price of the hotel did not match the value provided. Considering the lack of amenities in the room and the overall experience, I found the price to be unreasonably high. It's important for hotels to strike a balance between cost and quality, and unfortunately this Hotel fell short in this regard.
Furthermore, I was disappointed with the lack of kindness displayed by the hotel manager. I encountered a few issues during my stay, and when I approached the manager for assistance, their attitude was indifferent and unwelcoming. This lack of empathy and professionalism dampened my overall impression of the hotel and made me feel unimportant as a guest.
In conclusion, my experience at this Hotel was a mixed bag. While the breakfast was enjoyable and the staff at the restaurant were courteous, the lack of amenities in the room, the high price for what was provided, and the disappointing behavior of the hotel manager were major drawbacks. If these issues were addressed, the Hotel could significantly improve the guest experience and justify...
Read moreShort version: vegan breakfast options were very limited and very confusing.
Longer version: Apart from the vegan yoghurt and vegan butter which was still in their original packages, it was very hard to know which products I could eat. I had to ask which breads were vegan and after a very kind waiter ran around asking tons of people I finally got the answer by a more senior staff member to go to the corner were gluten free and lactose free stuff were. There I found only a gluten free hardbread and a rice cookie, which felt quite unappetising. Going back another staff member said she knew two of the breads were waterbased and vegan from experience, but had I not ran into her I would've likely had to eat the gluten-free hardbread to be safe. The cereal/musli had the same issue, and not even the kitchen could answer that question (again a very kind staff member ran into the kitchen to check), so I went and got the one kind gluten free musli which they could guarantee didn't have dairy in it. In 2021 vegan options have come a very long way, and to not be able to serve anything other than commercial bread and gluten free muesli, feels quite poor. Why not have a vegan tofu scramble instead of plain scrambled eggs. Why not have some vegan pancakes or waffles? If money is an issue, why not have some oatmeal available? Why not label the stuff so guests can just check what products have which allergens, to save both the time of the staff and guests? Feels like very simple things that would...

During the bustling Eurovision season, I found myself in a bit of a predicament. With an urgent need to prepare for a broadcast with TV de Miami, I was desperately seeking an iron for my dress. Despite not being a guest, I approached The View Hotel in hopes of assistance. To my amazement, the receptionist and the manager, Charlotte, were incredibly accommodating. Without a moment's hesitation, they provided me with the much-needed iron, and even the security agent kindly brought me a towel.
In stark contrast, my experience at the Eurovision host hotel, Crown, was utterly disappointing. Time was wasted, and the person in charge, Inga, was nothing short of unpleasant. It's clear that The View stands out as a beacon of excellent customer service, where one is treated with utmost care and attention.
The bar at The View also boasts a vibrant atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and enjoyment. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the two ladies who went above and beyond to assist me. Their exemplary service and the warm hospitality of The View Hotel have left an indelible mark on me and my production team.
Thank you, Charlotte and the receptionist, for your exceptional service and for embodying the true spirit of hospitality. Feel free to use this review to convey your appreciation for their outstanding service. It's always wonderful to acknowledge those who make a positive impact on our...
