Although buying your ski-pass online is highly encouraged given the covid-19 measures, it means waiting in a line for hours (with people who own magic pass) on crowded days whereas you can directly get into the cabin if you buy your pass there.

Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets is a popular, easy to reach area for winter sports, and it's also well known for being crowded on weekends and after nice snowfall.
