I was searching for reviews for this place but couldn't quite find any. Went ahead with the booking anyway as space was limited over the long weekend easter break. ||Good- new hotel so everything is pretty and sparkly ||Good - near the night market||Good - quiet corner in front of the beach||Bad - construction going on in the neighbouring property, super noisy! Told the owner of the hotel and she is told just " yea its the neighbour doing construction". No apology, no heads-up. Means you couldn't rest in the hote between 830 to 5 pm. ||Bad - The floor to ceiling window facing the sea is where the bathroom is. It must be some design flaw here, because we kept the blinds down all the time as we wouldnt want anyone to see us using the toilet. ||Bad - No security. This hotel appears to be only managed by one person. She is rarely around, only saw her once during check in and once when we were heading out at night and saw her chilling out with her friends at the hotel entrance. No security with the main door wide open but no one managing the counter when we returned. ||For the price we...
Read moreRoom was small, 2 beds were pushed against each other so basically 4 people slept right next to each other. The walking space from the front door to the bathroom/balcony is a joke, less than a foot of walking space. Rain shower spewed water from the side, dribbled water all over the place. Great view from the balcony if you overlook the garbage left behind from previous guest and the rusty water drip marks on the railings and furniture and noisy street. Good luck getting a 2nd key card without having to argue with the rude host, or else you’d have to uproot your whole family just to get a beer from 7-11. All because they don’t want you to leave your key card in the slot and run their precious electricity/air conditioning. Their “breakfast” would cost you $260nt if you went to the breakfast spot yourself and paid cash. If you go to Kenting during the offseason best to not book online and do walk ups and shop around, because we overpaid for a much...
Read moreLovely little Hostel, we can recommend it to everyone. We had a nice double bed room with a spacious bathroom with a bathtub and balcony with sea view. It looked exactly like on the pictures. The view is amazing. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming and speak good english. We spontaneously booked an extra night because we liked it that much. It's close in walking distance to the centre of the township and the nightmarket but still quite at night. The only thing you need to consider is that the beach in Kenting is closed for swimming due to dangerous...
