Our encounter with the waitress was delightful – friendly and helpful. Despite the usual policy of serving breakfast exclusively to hotel guests, she graciously accepted our payment of NT$150 for the resident's menu. We also indulged in a café latte, notable for its smooth and rich texture.

The four of us entered the cafe around 9am.

We were given menus, chose our beverages went to the cashier and after 2 of us said what we wanted we were told that none of our choices are available. We then ordered americano and tea, as pour over coffee is only available since 11am.

Afterwards two of our friends went over to order and one of them having asked for 4 different things all of which were unavailable said that he will not take anything and was told that everyone has to order a drink or leave. He was the last of us ordering and he left.

Americano was terrible. Tea was very good.

We went to this coffee shop because it had good reviews and the selection looked solid. The prices were a bit higher than usual, but given the beach-side location we figured it was worth a shot. When we entered, the server mentioned that wait times would be longer than usual. However, we didn’t expect “longer than usual” to mean a 45 minute wait.
