Not Recommended!!! 추천하지 않습니다!!! お勧めしません!!! 不想被旅宿老闆影響出遊心情的背包客，真心不建議這家! 因為你不知道何時會踩到老闆的地雷(無奈) If you don't want to bear any risk of your mood being ruined by the hostel owner, I strongly suggest you not choose this stay. The reason is that the hostel owner is super rude to backpackers with his "unique" principles and impolite manners. I truly have to share my experiences of the whole interaction with this rude male owner, and I sincerely hope travellers would think twice for this hostel. Even though it seems to be a good bargain; however, you are very likely to be scolded by the owner if you do something he "personally" sees it as a bad behavior or if you say something he dislikes. (He is poor at properly communicating.) In my case, I called him in order to ask how to cancel or reschedule my booking, because I had seen the news that there might have a typhoon nearby, and it would rain in the following days in Hualien. As soon as the owner heard the word "typhoon," he got furious like a erupting volcano, and kept scolding me. Even I was totally polite on the phone, and I did try to convey that I was just calling to ensure whether I could change my booking to another day or how to cancel it. I never made him to cancel my booking, or threaten him do as I said. In the whole communication as below, I was all polite. On the contrary, the owner was arrogant and impolite. What's even worse, he could have simply and politely replied that bookings can only be cancelled unless there is a typhoon formally issued by the authorities. In contrast, he scolded me as he were my old father or teacher, and as if I did something really wrong and he had the right to scold me. (HORRIBLE MAN.) Hence, Do Not risk staying this hostel if you still want to keep good mood in your trip. Also, it is why I have to share my experience in this hostel. 我在出遊前一天晚上看到Yahoo新聞說有颱風，雖然還沒正式發布海陸警報，但因為行程排定去太魯閣，擔心下雨造成落石影響安全(連家中長輩都勸下次再去)，因此第2天早上便致電業者詢問是否可以取消(或調整日期)，但是老闆一聽到颱風2個字就爆氣，極不禮貌地開始”教育”顧客並說明自己很可憐等語，過程中我有插話表示僅是詢問看看(整個過程我都是禮貌詢問，也沒有要求業者一定要同意取消)(畢竟一晚300多元費用根本是小錢，甚至我也事先想好如果不能取消或改期也ok，順便就在電話跟老闆說一聲當天不會入住)(結果沒想到講沒幾句就無法溝通下去)。因為不想被業者無禮對待及情緒勒索，後來在業者告知”我可以上網點取消，看他會不會同意”之後，我便結束通話。 個人認為這家業者除了非常沒禮貌外，也不屑與顧客互動及溝通，還會用情緒勒索方式，實在是很糟糕的經歷，其實硬體設施還可以，只是臨馬路噪音很大。其實花蓮車站附近還有很多正常的民宿可以選擇。後續不想再被電話砲轟改用郵件聯繫，過程大致如下：10/28 09:47 我：您好：今天入住時間會超過6點，大約是晚上8-9點，謝謝！ 10/28 10:15業者表示網頁上有說明櫃檯只到晚上6點，如果我真趕不上，為避免耽誤我的行程，請盡快另找民宿，退房他們不會收取費用；又請我以後別再用天氣因素作為藉口，除非發布颱風，他的訂房客人他從不扣拿訂金。 10/28 11:17我：您好：如果無法調整入住時間也沒關係，我會在6點前抵達。另外重申，稍早去電僅是禮貌性的詢問能否取消，如果您沒有服務顧客的熱忱，我也能理解，請不要再對我發脾氣，我沒必要繼續接受這種態度。相關過程屆時也會在評價如實表達。謝謝! 10/28 11:37業者表示他們不怕評論只是就事論事，而我一開口就說颱風。"請問颱風發佈了嗎？不要用評論來威脅他，千萬別當鍵盤魔人啊！" 10/28 12:06我：您好：說颱風也是新聞看到的，可以自行去查，而且我從頭到尾態度都很好，禮貌詢問。說我用評論威脅?? 現在發表評論不是很正常的事情？又說鍵盤魔人？怎麼好像有點喜歡亂扣帽子呢。剛剛看一下網友評論，發現也太多負評，如果我先查就沒有今天的事情。真倒楣。當背包客這麼久，果然便宜沒好品質是真的。 10/28 12:37業者表示不知道我看的是哪一國的氣象，店家有好有壞，客人也是參差不齊，業者說不知道我是屬於哪一種，我還沒來住就說在評價時會如實表達，還說"他真的好怕喔! Great location! Amazing service. 10min walking from the station and 20min from the night market, a lot of places to eat around. The owner was very friendly and accommodating. He waited for us for a check-in after 20h and gave us very good tips about what to do in the around city, since the Taroko Park is still closed. He speaks English too. After checking out he gracefully let us store our luggage there until late afternoon. The rooms were good in size and the double bed big enough for 2 ppl. As a Taiwanese,I will not recommend you to stay here if you’re not a Taiwanese. The owner doesn’t like tourists from other countries. There was a guy who forget to turn off the light when he left the laundry room,and the owner was mad about it. Apparently, there was only a sign in Chinese as a reminder, so the owner should have been more patient. After he became mad, he asked several guy to stopped smoking in front of the hostel without reason. Furthermore, he also ask me to stop drinking alcohol while I was just drinking alone.
