We stayed for one night, booking 4 rooms of varying sizes to accommodate our 3 generation family (7 adults 2 babies).||I expected genuine boutique styled rooms. But arrived to the exact opposite. We were assigned 2 quadruple rooms (2 queen beds each), 1 standard room (1 double bed) and 1 mini room (for 1 adult). Floors were dusty and the room design makes it difficult to notice. Toilets were smelly. For the standard room and mini room, both had condom “amenities” provided. We suspect this place doubles up as a love hotel. ||Only plus point is the 6 minute walk to Luodong Night Market. ||I am guessing this hotel only has a handful of pretty rooms with balconies which they use for marketing. The rest are really painful to stay in. Very dark with zero views. Terribly disappointed with this hotel and...
Read moreHerb Art Hotel is located in a quiet street just behind the main street of Luodong. So it's close to all the actions including Luodong night market and train station, but at the same time, is away from the street noise. ||||We were pleased with our room which is spacious, have a writing desk, chairs and small coffee table. The non-slippery bathtub was the best comfort for us after we got back from Taroko Gorge.||||For the laundry room, there were only 2 washing machine and 2 very small dryers. We had the unfortunate time when one inconsiderate guest dominates all the 4 machines for hours until the laundry room closed at 10pm, so we had no choice but to hang our damp clothes in the room. Hopefully the hotel will add more machines and make it coin operated, so no one will selfishly used up all...
Read moreDecided to come stay here because the reviews of this place were not bad and were mostly because of noise complaints. I definitely give this place 5/5 and not the reflected 3.9. The staff is extremely friendly and location is very convenient, located near the train station and the night market.
As for the room, it was spacious and extremely clean from top to bottom. The toilet is big and very spacious, so you won’t feel cramped. The rooms are pretty soundproof because all rooms are located on 6-7 floors. There is also free breakfast here.
I paid around $1600NTD/night, which is actually very cheap. I highly recommend this place! Will come back here...
