Hotel Ever Spring — Hotel in Magong City

This hotel is located steps from the harbour on the Main Street of Magong City, Penghu. The room was nothing special but OK for the price. The best features of this hotel are location and price. The staff was also very helpful, albeit with limited English language skills, but this is the norm in Taiwan. The breakfast buffet was very poor, unless you are a fan of congee. Otherwise there is only white bread and cold hard boiled eggs. We stayed here for 5 nights and from the second day we were given vouchers for breakfast at McDonald's every morning, which is only about 3 blocks up the street. Penghu Island is absolutely beautiful with pristine beaches and crystal clear water. The locals are very friendly and taxis are cheap. Overall, ever Spring hotel is a good value for a short stay on the island for budget...

we talked with a staff (sorry i forgot his name) who can speak English well and gave us many information about near the hotel. he was very friendly and also other staffs were very helpful as well. ||the room has a big window so we could check the weather easily and could see the view.||they had washing machines so we could do laundry which we needed so bad since we traveled quite many days.||breakfast was very different than other hotels. they gave us Mos Burger coupons which we can use at Mos Burger near the hotel. personally i like Mos Burger but didn't want to have 2 days...
