Beacon is a beer bar that beckons patrons pining for a pint in Penghu. Danny, the owner, is terrifically friendly and knowledgeable about craft beer. The garden out back is lush, inviting, and plays host to live performances, on occasion. And the beers, featuring many local Taiwanese breweries, are wonderful. A must-visit spot in Magong!

This is the chillest bar I've ever came across, serving up nothing else but craft beers. Come on in even if beer's not your thing, they'll be able to find something to suit. But the best part of the evening will have to be our conversations and exchanges with the super friendly well travelled enthusiastic owner. 推！

此次澎湖之旅的首要目標就是到Beacon說酒人喝啤酒，為什麼要從台北跑到澎湖喝啤酒?因為他很美。美在他背後的故事。「說」「酒」「人」。說的不只是酒還有人甚至還有Beacon說酒人本身這家店本身。從隱藏在澎湖市區中鬧中取靜卻又不突兀的老宅整個外觀到內在，和那眾多種類的精釀啤酒從酒標到口味，還有老闆與來店的客人，處處無一不是故事，在聽到那些值得回憶的那些故事的同時，在老宅，客人與老闆也不斷建立新的故事，就是那吸引我飛去澎湖的地方。老闆Denny外表像是個健康陽光的大男孩，對啤酒的瞭解很深，不只是能告訴你每隻啤酒的口感及故事，更能抓住客人的喜好，無論今天你是想小酌兩杯還是想享受酒酣耳熱的氣氛，喝酒的當下，總是能如同享受到餐廳吃美食的有專業大廚為你推薦的過程一樣，尋找到自己喜愛的啤酒口味。近年來去過很多裝潢很美麗的新餐廳或Bar，新鮮豪華的裝潢也很吸睛，我也總是照片拍不停，留下紀錄，但新的建設背後看不到的有時卻是破壞掉些什麼，曾幾何時，阿嬤家的大木床已經好多年都沒有看到了，而說酒人就是保留老宅/老屋風情的一個美麗啤酒吧，我的美術一向不好，如果讓我自己去看，我說不出這棟老宅有什麼特色，但是說酒人的精彩之處就在由老闆及老闆娘告訴你這棟老宅的故事以及他們的巧思如何盡可能不破壞老宅的情況下去給大家一個在澎湖市區能享受精釀啤酒的好去處。我是個很不會用形容詞描述感覺的人，只會一直說很美，但我從台北飛去澎湖的心得就是真的好值得，三天三刷，三天都聽到了不同的故事，也製造了不同的回憶，也享受了不同種類不同口感的美酒。我願意再飛去一次跟很多次，跟我的朋友們在那邊留下更多的回憶。 #beacon說酒人 #bar #beerbar #澎湖景點 #澎湖美食 #精釀啤酒 #台灣最美啤酒吧 #penghu #老屋 #老宅 #一百萬個人有一百萬個故事有一百萬種美 #三天三刷

This place is superb! The atmosphere is cosy and the owner, Denny, is a gem! The house holds a lot of Penghu history and I enjoyed learning how Denny came to be in Penghu.
