sea cafe民宿 — Hotel in New Taipei

We have been driving around for hours to look for lunch options, we randomly found this hidden gem on Google map! When we first knocked on the door and thought it was a cafe but the host told us that they are a hostel and only serve meals for staying guests. But since we are there already she has kindly offered to make some lunch for us with whatever food they have! (at the end we had a mix of dumplings ~i.e. their own food reserve, with nice coffee, eggs, waffles etc). We sat by the window with an awesome view (see pics below) with yin yang sea, the golden waterfall, and the deserted iron factory. The other host showed us a few of their guest rooms and a super nice balcony with the great view of the mountains. It was such an amazing day with lovely and welcoming hosts! Nice and clean environment and we would highly recommend anyone who wishes to have a getaway to stay here. If we are going to visit Taiwan again we will sure set a time here. p.s. it would be best if you drive there. no public transport nearby but it's a real hidden...

The property has fabulous views looking out over the waterfall, coastline, and an old mining ruin which is lit beautifully at night. The hotel is lovely, the host couldn't be more kind, and the breakfast was delicious. When I'm back in the area I will stay there again. The Golden Waterfall was just a short walk away. 激推情侶、閨蜜來玩！有秘境又有驚喜！建議自駕，不然晚上想在九份待久一點要回來有點麻煩（搭計程車走山路全程覺得怕怕的）。 價格不貴、一整棟只有三間客房，不吵不鬧非常清幽，房間視野非常好，大片窗戶面向寬闊的陰陽海，側邊陽台面向黃金瀑布，晚上到陽台吹風看星星，聽著瀑布聲和蟲鳴享受美好的夜晚，想聊天的話，還可以到客廳自助吧泡上一杯熱奶茶拿到露天陽台坐著慢慢談心。最棒的是，老闆娘和老闆是歷史說書人，他們熱情為我們介紹景點、細述歷史，讓我們吃個早餐可以津津有味聽一個小時欲罷不能！這個像家溫馨又美麗的地方，超級推薦給大家！

補充：瑞芳到民宿uber大約250內，計程車300-350，請開到五幅馬賽克的道路進去，不要傻傻往ample...
