Royal Roi Hotel — Hotel in Taichung

房間：飯店很新，房間也很棒。設計很精緻。落地窗的面對廁所的門是我一出廁所似乎有錯覺，房間在對面。延伸了房間的深度。真是厲害👍的設計。洗手乳液、洗髮精和沐浴乳都是精油性的，味道好好。電視也很大。每層樓房間不多。桌面不會太深，基本足夠放台筆電。桌面長度一般長度，這樣桌面空間還算可以。沒有衣櫃，衣服就掛在牆壁上。床也很舒服，跟5星的飯店床一樣的質感。插座四處。一處在很窄的書桌，方便使用電腦和另一處在床邊。在床邊設計的位置和高度真的有經過思考。蠻不錯的。我的習慣會帶多孔插座。整體來說，空間不大但房間的設計與動線的設計真的讓人感覺舒服不擁擠。這很少見！ 停車：停車有地下室但單一出入口，開車新手可能會害怕因為入口大概是一個半車道寬度。但也不用擔心，因為他們後面還有一個蠻大的露天停車場。停好後直接走後門進來。超棒的。地下停車位有限，停滿就停後面的吧！ 餐廳：空間不大。所以需分三段（時間段）。入房時櫃檯會問你。但櫃檯沒有說為什麼所有剛開始會覺得好奇怪。這裡要建議的是：住宿一定要含早餐。他們的早餐好好吃。很有質量。牛肉塊竟然入口即化，粥還是干貝的，雞湯有牛蒡，連我胃口小的人都忍不住要多吃兩輪。一定要給廚師按讚！餐廳每個位子都有插座，也能在這裡吃東西，上網。很棒的設計。 娛樂中心：有腳踏車運動的（我猜因為空間和聲音，所以捨棄跑步機。裡面沒有跑步機），也有地方可以玩小遊戲和看風景做電腦作業。有個很大的電視，好像是可以做那種WI遊戲。感覺很棒。由於旁邊有房客所以也只能在九點之後才開門且晚上十點就關了。 1F大廳很棒。喜歡裡面的設計。還有提供24小時的免費咖啡呢。還有不同口味的。喜歡喝咖啡的你，可以一面喝咖啡一面沉浸在設計很棒的大廳，真是比在五星級好喔。 唯一可惜的是房間冰箱太小，兩小盒草莓就沾滿了。冰箱的深度很淺。或許住在那裡的人比較不太需要用到冰箱，在有限的空間，還是要取捨的。 地點：如果開車的話，很方便，就在74號旁邊。74快速道路繞台中市區，所以很方便。另外，如果想走路到中央公園或逢甲夜市，也是不太遠。30分鐘應該可以，當運動也不錯。他們旁邊也有很多吃的，包含24小時豆漿店。

整體來說，雖然不是5星，但住起來的質感有5星的價值。

I personally highly recommend this hotel. Even though it is not a five star hotel but the quality of the stay is 5 stars. Lobby: Nice design and very high ceiling. Offered free coffee 24 hours with different flavors. You can sit in the lobby and enjoy the atmosphere with free coffee or hot tea. Restaurant: On 2F, you can view the lobby from the restaurant. Under each table you can find socket for you to charge your electronic. However the restaurant's ceiling is a bit low and it goes for dark color design. Breakfast: This is a must if you want to stay here. From my personal experience, I have not tasted such good breakfast in this kind of "low cost" hotel. The porridge isn't just white porridge but it has added scallops. The chicken soup is so tasty. The beef cube simply melts in my mouth. I am not a big eater but these three stuffs make me go for second round. I can feel that the chef put in effort in making those dishes. Car park: They offered free parking and they have both underground and surface parking. If you are not an experienced driver, you may find the entrance or exit to the underground parking a bit too tight to drive down and up. There is only one single exit and entrance. So, only one car at a time, either in or out. However, the carpark which is at the back of the hotel is big and comfortable. So, you could use that. Just remember to get token from them if you want to leave the carpark (regardless if it is underground or outside) Room: The room is well designed. For a small size room, the way it is decorated makes it visually big. The are sockets in four places. A narrow long writing table and a small sofa offered spaces to put our stuffs. The bathroom is wonderful. Their handwash, shower and shampoo are of essential oil based. Nice fragance. Their beds really nice and comfortable. Same as in five star hotel. No closet and there is a tiny shallow fridge that can accomodate probably two water bottles. Recreation room: Open from 9 am to 10 pm. I guess this timing is due to the fact that this room is located next to guest room. No running machine but they have cycling machines. Also, an area where you can use your electronic and a view of the expressway. Location: Next to the entrance of the 74 expressway that runs around Taichung. Very convenient. Also, you can walk to central park or night market probably about 30 mins walk. There are many shops at the back of the hotel too. It includes 24 hours soy milk store. Overall experience: Five...

This morning fire alarmed and we hurriedly go down from 9th floor to 1st floor.Stairs no sign indicated which floor are you in and baby bathtub and chairs placed along the stairs .I had to remove the baby bathtub in the stairs to be able to go down .Fire exit should be clear exit all the time.Too bad I haven't got the chance to take a picture because I 'm on panic that time and I'm with my family and all I'm thinking is our safety.I wish and hoping the management will do something about it. First time to experienced this and it's terrifying.Thank God it was a false alarm and the people from lobby apologized.After 10 mins。they informed us that somebody push the alarm。Need improvement for this kind...

So untrained personnel!!!! I asked receptionist to have a breakfast even if was not included in room rate. She said yes, they will arrange in restaurant. Going to restaurant they told me after Tel communication with reception: "your room doesn't include breakfast". I said "yes receptionist told me you will inform them" The guy in restaurant said " You must go to reception to pay". I said " Reception told me you arrange it, I didn't check out, just inform them I shall have breakfast with my daughter". He said to me "But breakfast is until 10:00."
