Ruyi Sunny Cake — Restaurant in Taichung

Great! Ordered online to Singapore. Their product was first sent out on 30 August (Monday), was on the plane on 31 August (Tuesday) and reached me today (1 Sep).

They were mostly (95%) in pristine condition except the almond which was cracked (some pieces only) but doesn’t bother me as it’s going into my stomach anyway.

Products were very fresh! The taiyangbing I ordered and the red bean cake all expire on 4 October while the almonds expire on 25 September.

All their products aren’t too sweet either (only their original taiyangbing tasted sweet to me but even then it tasted like a 25% bubble tea. I like their tieguanying sun cake, they don’t skim on the tea powder so it has a very intense and earthy taste! Not sweet at all either, good for those who are more health conscious. Their almond crisps aren’t sweet either. Usually, almond crisps will be coated with sugar but this isn’t! Very good.

Anyway, good gimmick to seat you down, serves you tea, and then let you try a wide variety of their cookies. The staffs were friendly and not pushy, but most people will still obligate themselves to buy some of their super over-priced products after eating all those samples. Their sun cookies were good but so were many others. NT360 for 8pcs, but you can also get very good or even better ones from other traditional bakeries for only NT130. Random saw this place on the map as it was near our hotel. The next day our driver said it was a famous place for sun biscult! They offer samples for u to sit down and try with chinese tea. Which was great but at the same time its like very pressure u have to buy something since they served you this well. But the sun biscult was really good. I love love love the rose one!
