We stayed at the Greenside Hotel in Arusha at the end of our Safari trip the day before we flew from Kilimanjaro Airport.|On arrival our luggage was carried into reception for us and we were each given a freshening up towel and a drink. The check in was quick and easy and we were give room 103 on the first floor. There was a slight mix up with the sleeping arrangements but this was quickly sorted by the hotle staff.||Evening meal and breakfast were included in our package and we found the choice for evening meal adequate and the food was good. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of items, with a freshly cooked egg station and was very good.||The staff at the hotel were very attentive and couldn't do enough for you, they even let us stay in our room longer than the check out time and stored our luggage after this time as we didn't travel until later afternoon on the day of departure. Also as we were ready to leave the hotel, we were offered a selection of snacks and fresh fruit to take with us.||Only slight problem was that room 103 is directly above reception and also adjacent to the restaurant, with an open staircase to the other side of one wall of the room and we did get some noise, particularly with chairs being scraped on the floor in the restaurant, however this didn't spoil our stay overall. Perhaps if you ask for a room on a higher floor, your stay would be better!||Thanks guy's for your attention to detail during our stay and we would highly recommend the Greenside Hotel and hopefully return one day.||PS they are starting to do some building work, perhaps to extend the hotel beyond the dining room/restaurant, however we had no noise issues and this did not impact our...

Additionally, some construction and finishing works were still ongoing as of June 2025, aimed at enhancing the hotel's premium feel.
Despite these few limitations, the hotel shows great promise and already delivers a tranquil, high-quality experience. With continued improvements, it is set to become one of Arusha’s standout...
Read moreThe hotel is conveniently located at Old Moshi Road with approximately 2 km walking distance to the Clock Tower. Also there are some shops nearby (next to the gas station down the road). The premises are well-protected and clean, also it is quiet. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, especially in the restaurant (they even teach you some Swahili). We found the bed to be super comfortable and can only agree with the many good reviews for their food. Only one bad remark: WiFi was sometimes weak...
