Airport FQ Hotel — Hotel in Dar es-Salaam

FQ hotels Dar Es Salaam , these hotels are using 4 star category on the ads, reality 1 star, overpricing hotels with very unprofessional and low quality but high prices not worth of money only 50% value. Was there 4 days at they”4*” acc facility, and saw it all.

Personal not trained, some of them Can not even calculate, some not read, kitchen stuff poor trained, and chef has no responsibility, when complain the quality he did not prepair my food, grillien pork with bbq, it was black burned dried meat , which could not be cut even by knife. I asked to have chips and vegetables with it both come on table cold.

They menu is full of different foods but they are having 15% availability of needed to perform the portions of they menu... I ask biff more than 8 different, not have biff, seafood same story, chicken 50%, soups none.

After seeing them washing salads under they tap water and on very dirty kitchen I decide to stop eating they restaurants either, you want to take risk to have ecoli or diarreas, then its worth to try, hygien level is very poor in they kitchen I saw stuff digging they nose and cooking.... terrible.....

An other thing the bar servers, be careful if you order, make sure your bill is easy overloaded others drinks as well because thats the way they work. They are pulling your money, if pay on table, to they pockets and add to someone other bill. How to know this?? Bcz, I had 3 beers and they charge me one, when I asked if they have sales without no ctrl, answer was no they remember all, and the chef of restaurant bar, total uncompetent with his big ego having no skills of customer Service, sleeping on the table.....

They rooms have not even freeze, room cleaning level is missing quality checking and worst than that they even the newest rooms and beds having bed bugs. ( I went and bought it myself to get ready of them).

Do I have competent to evaluate and tell this to the public??? I think Yes, traveling over 6 months yearly at hotels around europe, africa etc. Have experience if it works or not...

Tanzanian tourist Service has Good and bads, this chain FQ10 has long way to even level 2* Without dumping out they unprofessional and uncompetent stuff for trained, customer orientated and honest personnel.

If there is possibility to go even 15 min outside of these lurks, its worth to go, bcz there is nice ones 3* places with Good Service, Good and clean kitchen to eat safe and Good , I find even street food better than...

This Hotel is very close to Julius Nyerere airport. This Hotel is comfortably close to the airport. This Hotel is about 400m from the airport. Sorry, I am repeating myself. The surrounds at this Hotel are very noisy at night. The surrounds at this Hotel are noisy up to around midnight. The surrounds at this Hotel are extremely noisy up to midnight. Mmm, oh yes! It is an affordable, basic hotel with clean rooms, a comfortable bed, a/c, fan and en-suite bathroom. Dining hall and bar. Acceptable breakfast included and, apparently, great kitimoto (pork). Take your pick: Stuck in traffic for hours on arrival getting to a smart hotel or, even worse, making your way to the airport. I advise one night...

FQ Hotel is in the heart of the largest Tanzanian city, Dar es salaam. The fact that it is within close proximity to Dar es Salaam International Airport ensure makes it even more attractive to those wants to catch their late night or early morning flight without worrying to miss your flight. The only thing I didn't like is the price for the quality of room they gave me, for such quality i can get it with 2 times cheaper in other places, they need to improve service quality as well, customer care wasn't so...
