BAO Cafe JNIA T2 — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

Now where do I begin. This place is located perfectly at the airport drop off area. That being said, I have never seen such incompetence in so many areas. I literally had to chase for the server to even see me. On top of that, she didn't acknowledge me till few minutes later, not that she was super busy, nope. The lady at the counter I dont even know if she understands why she is there. Ordered food, but they lacked items that are so common and easy to have. Then, I ordered cappuccino which doesnt take that long to make, and spanish omelette which a child can make in 5 minutes. Also, figured to order samosas and marble cake which were items in the display box. These things came 35 minutes later after yelling that I will miss the flight. I could see other customers trying to get the waiting staff attention but the staff paid no mind. I will not recommend this place, unless you have time to kill and dont mind being ignored. Ohh, the food was not even worth the wait. It's sad seeing nice fancy places but management is terrible...

I think people go there since there is not another option more in the area of airport. And they quite right. But… BAO cafe is earning so much, and make so fancy place, but they don’t want to spend for proper AC system. And proper staff training part. I had an awful experience. Bought Ice coffee, fried rice and golden something.. and was overpriced at the checkout. 5000+15000+10000=30000. But during checkout the worked just randomly came out with price, I had to pay and rush and there were a big queue for the cashier place. And didn’t want to waste time for their duty to do.
