Bungalows de Karanga — Hotel in Unguja

Lovely small hotel tucked away in Michamvi Kae.. we really enjoyed every part of the 3 days we stayed there..everything seemed spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. The place is very close to the beach 2 min walk to watch the most beautiful Sunset over Chwaka bay.. staff were great and very helpful ..If you appreciate quite time, you will love this spot because every room has a private terrace with a hammock to enjoy the sea breeze and the beautiful green tropical garden. Not to forget the amazing breakfast served in the morning with fresh fruits l, tea, coffee and lots more. We highly recommend this place if you love your own time away...

I have nothing but kind words about this place.

Positives: The price is only a fraction of those hotels at the beach. 2 min walk to the beach. Very few sellers on the beach, so you can relax without any hassle. Peaceful place. It is quiet and you will sleep well. Fans are efficient and the rooms are naturally cool because of thick walls and good aereation. No need for aircondition. Breakfast excellent and exceed expectations. Staff also great and helpful. Everything is close by, within walking distance.

If I had more holiday I could spend another week here easily. Perfect place, 100/100...

Village, Bungalows and service that are worth a visit. Why is that?

Because it was one of my favourite trips. Because of the staff who were very attentive, thanks to the bungalow that had everything you needed to be comfortable. Because of the beautiful beach just a few steps away. Because of the good food, in each of the restaurants.

How nice it was to have themed evenings on the beach, with atmosphere and good humour.

After touring the city, I wouldn't have gone anywhere else but here to rest and relax.
