Our room was nice and spacious. House keeping staff were nice and gave us new towels, little coffee packets and made up the bed every time we put the cleaning note on the door lock. The ladies in the housekeeping team also found my husband a softer pillow because the ones the hotel had initially given us were the harder kind. The ladies were nice and explained that softer pillows are all taken. It’s not their fault. With that being said, the hotel should invest in getting extra pillows because my husband got neck pain that he complained about all day. I got pain to but I had too but I had to listen to him complaining. I got used to it after 2/3 days of flattening it with suitcase a bit. Please management order more pillows! Our current hotel has regular softer pillows and we are both doing fine with them. It’s a pretty “new/ renovated” looking hotel but they don’t order enough pillows. Also the pool looks bigger in picture the hotel posted lols. Man who took the photo knows his angles. I guess I’m being generous giving it five stars. I was happy with my stay despite all the annoyance. It’s my first time in Thailand and I have decided nothing is...
Read moreI believe the hotel is beautiful but needs a bit of a touch up. The concept of the hotel was all white so the defects were all visible. My stay for 11 nights were just fine, I understand it's a budget hotel so if you request for another blanket or another pillow is not possible. We just used the pool once cause it's murky and the tiles in some areas were loose, the metals on the edge were covered in rust as well so it's a bit worrying. I have booked 2 rooms & both water kettles are with rust and the lid were broken, when i asked to replace it, the staff answered that all the kettles left were all the same, so she promised me to change it the next day but it didn't happened, i ended up buying my own kettle to enjoy my daily coffee. When you ask to clean the room, don't expect it to be super clean. One time the cleaner make up my room, she just set up one face towel instead of 2, so when we checked out they charged me 199 baht for the lost. I know it was also my fault cause i did not informed the reception since the beginning that there's only one face towel set up in the room, but the housekeeper must have record. The security guard in the evening was...
Read moreBooked a room for one night and attempted to check in at 8pm after a 9hr flight from Sydney. Upon arrival, I provided my booking reference, receipt, and ID as per the confirmation email. However, reception claimed there was no booking under my name, insisting they had checked both the system and their paperwork. Despite showing my reference again, they dismissed it as invalid because it was not the “booking ID” and refused a refund, stating there was nothing they could do. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was told no one was available.
After 20 minutes of back-and-forth, I refused to leave without a resolution stating I’m not leaving until I get a refund or speak to your manager. Suddenly, they “found” my booking in both the system and their paperwork. We were finally checked in—only to discover that the higher-priced rooms on level 8 had no elevator access, forcing us to carry our luggage up the stairs.
I’ve stayed at hotels and hostels worldwide and have never encountered such incompetence. The staff were unprofessional and dishonest, can only imagine how many other guests the staff has tried this on-avoid this place...
