Beautiful, well maintained pool villa, wonderful staff, serene beach.

From the moment we were picked up at the airport by the hotel's minivan service, to the time we were dropped off, service was seamless. The resort facilities and each and each & every staff member met and surpassed all of our expectations.

The resort grounds and our pool villa were immaculate & well maintained. Every morning, without fail, a housekeeper knocked on our door to ask if our room needed service. Our villa had the comfiest beds with cloud-like pillows and duvets inside, and a huge chaise and 2 lounge chairs on the patio. There were many electrical outlets inside and outside of our room and the electricity never cut out even once, not even during storms, unlike in Lamai and Chaweng where the power goes out constantly. Linens were pristine, and there were toiletries aplenty. Every last detail was thought of; even white bathrobes and room slippers were provided. Both my friend and I were very impressed with the resort's attention to detail.

The breakfast buffet had both western and Thai offerings, and service was stellar through and through. The concierge even gave us 10% discount meal & beverage coupons. The resort staff were always happy to help and acknowledged every request efficiently and courteously. Happy hour was from 4pm to 6pm and 100 baht cocktails were on special. At lunchtime, there was a krapow personal pan pizza & your choice of soda for 140 baht. Everything I had from the resort's restaurant was delicious!

The resort's wifi signal was far superior to my internet on the mainland, not that anyone would actually need wifi on such a beautiful, serene stretch of beach. While the beach wasn't white sand, it was very peaceful, unlike the busier Chaweng area, and Mae Nam Beach is stunning in its own right, offering a breathtaking sunrise view as well as a spectacular view of Koh Phangan. Another thing I noticed was the diversity of hotel guests. There were solo travelers, couples, families, and groups of friends staying at the resort.

I did have to do a bit of work towards the end of my trip, and the resort had computers available in the lobby area, which was most helpful. Cocopalm resort is a real gem and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mae Nam Beach...

Coco Palm Beach Hotel on Samui is a great place to stay if you like original Thai hotels and don't expect a 5 star resort. Good middle class bungalows, simple but clean. Everything you need is in the complex. Worth mentioning are all the employees in all areas who always have a smile on their faces, just like you know from Thailand. There is a restaurant, a VSR and a delicious breakfast buffet. there is always something for everyone. Nearby is massage, delicious restaurants and a mini market. It's about a 2 km walk to the main street or you can rent a scooter directly opposite the hotel. You can get a scooter for around eight euros a day. Depending on how long the rental period is. There are plenty of sun loungers on the hotel's beach, which are also complemented by loungers by the pool. The pool is large enough, but only suitable for swimmers. Children can go swimming there with water wings and adults can also go swimming. There are enough shaded areas on the beach and also by the pool. Parasols, among other things, also ensure this. Each bungalow has a terrace where you can sit in peace in the evenings. And because the hotel is the fair pier where you can go to the neighboring island for around twelve euros. It's definitely worth taking a day trip there. The bar also sometimes has happy hour where they offer cocktails for half the price. This is highly recommended. The food in the restaurant is good. It's a bit more expensive than outside. But the relationship is still normal in the restaurant. There are electric shuttles in the complex that can take you from the entrance to your bungalow. There is no charge for it, but the driver is always happy to receive a little tip. Just like all the other employees who do their best every day, everyone is happy about a few baht/euro tips. The dogs in the complex are all very friendly. You still shouldn't feed her. We were in the complex for three weeks and took a close look at Ko Samui. It's definitely worth a big trip. But you can also get an impression within a few days. But you should invest at least four days to get to know Samuel. We wish you a great time at the Coco Palm Beach Resort. Enjoy your time and see the...

Location: Very very quiet, which suited us, we went in June where most local.cades and bras where either empty of onky ever had one table in at a time Breakfast: it was Ok but im glad i didn pay extra to have this included every day, esp as a veggie. There was a selection of meats and salad, cerals and toast. You could also have a spag bol or rice and veg in garlic if thats your type of breakfast. You can get an omlette to if you want. Bar/resteraunt: in general it was ok, decent enough prices and food quality, selected cockatils at happy hour were 100 bhat which was good, outside of happy hour there were up to around 5 or 6 pound sterling. Beach: looks pretty but sand is awful, its feels more like demoroa sugar and i found it hard to walk on for any amount of time. However there were enough loungers for everyone as we were there at a very quiet time. Cant say what this would be like at peek times. Employees: wonderful and so friendly, best thing about hotel Other services: there is a shuttle to chewang every day (although we never got it as it was too early gpr us to want to go out at 5pm) and the hotel ould book you a can and charge it to your room to save yoy haggling with taxi driver about cost. Our cab to fisherman village was 400 bhat and we haggled the same amount for one back from there although theu haggle started at 600 bhat. Feedback for hotel: Whilst sat around the beach and pool it got a bit annoying that they wantes you to pay for drinks and food there and then instead of just at the end of the day or by adding it to the room, would jave preferred leas hassel by just having a tab system. This would have been a simple way to improve my customer experience

In my recent visit this clean beach resort, I think that it was one of the best resort in Samui. situated in Mae Nam district. About 35 mins to Chaweng beach. And about 20 mins to Fisherman village. The distance is not long but you can’t drive fast. This resort offers many facilities such as free wi-fi, body massage by the beach, golf cart transporting to convenient stores, free transportation van ( one way only ) to popular area ( E.G. shopping mall). And laundry service. I stayed in the beach front villa. And it was terrific. Serene and exceptional views. My room is always clean. And towels are replaced daily. Moreover, my terrace is facing the sea to let me enjoy a great view of nature. Bed mattress is perfect for my back. Not too plush. The bathroom is large and has all the amenities. There are safety box and fridge in the room. One thing I do not like is the TV. Limited on the program. But my sitting area is very nice. AC unit works great. I have to turn it off sometimes. Breakfast is good. I love those Thai fresh fruits. Very refreshing. The staff is outstanding, polite and courteous. One day I missed breakfast. A gentleman name Tik called. He wanted to know if I’d like to have breakfast. He’d save it for me before they stop serving. I was very impressed and obliged. Anyway, I think that this resort is one of the best. Because of its location, service, convenience and serene environment.

Nice and quiet hotel with private bungalows, a pool and direct beach access. ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶b̶u̶n̶g̶l̶o̶w̶s̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶n̶ ̶b̶e̶t̶t̶e̶r̶ ̶d̶a̶y̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶m̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶b̶e̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶a̶ ̶f̶e̶w̶ ̶r̶e̶n̶o̶v̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶r̶e̶ but everything was clean. (Edit 2025: I've been back and the rooms have been renovated and are very nice now. Still super clean.) The hotel staff is extraordinarily friendly and gives you a feeling like checking into a grand hotel. Pool is nice and has a bar with decently priced drinks. The restaurant right next to the beach serves the breakfast buffet and offers regular restaurant service the rest of the day. There are also a few other cozy restaurants in the area, if you chose to dine out. Each bungalow has a private patio where you can enjoy the evening or those noons where the Thai summer sun is just too hot to chill at pool or beach. The hotel is right next to the pier where the speedboats to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao leave (there is a slightly hidden way directly next to the restaurant, where you are just 30m from the pier), so it's the perfect stop before hopping to the next island. Edit 2025: We booked a few weeks prior and paid <50€ per night for two persons including breakfast which is a riddiculously good deal.
