Sunshine Gourmet — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Love this place! Was recommended by a local living nearby to what he considers his 'neighbourhood gem'. Off the beaten tracks and very unassuming until it sweeps you away with its great hospitality and delicious fresh homemade foods cooked by a friendly Thai lady who served us and shyly admitted she's the cook behind the dishes we were giving high praises to. The pork fillet mignon was cooked to perfection and well seasoned right down to the sides that came with it. Did repeats, will recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat and will personally visit again anytime I'll be down in Samui.

Best restaurant around! 5 stars with no doubt. We were here 5-6 times for a dinner and the meals were delicius every time. We tried few thai restaurants for a lunch in this area but for the dinner we went still here. The staff is very friendly from the first moment and food service is fast, each meal in 20-25 minute max (depends on the amount of guests and meal type). Everything fresh not frozen. Best time to visit is about 18:30 to 19:00 if you want to get the seats for more people because later is it full and you have to wait. This is the first restaurant we tried when arrived in Koh Samui, we chose it for its phenomenon. And it turned out that is such an amazing restaurant! For so many days stay in Koh Samui, my husband and I come back every now and then.
