The Hua Kati Cafe is a direct neighbor of the Samui Buri, where we stayed for five nights. Just a few steps along the beach.
Good food and drinks, much as we expected it from Thailand.
We went there each time for dinner, as probably many other guests from our resort did. So it could become a bit hard to find a free table. And the waiters sometimes appeared to be a bit "unorganized", like not noticing new guests had arrived at a previously empty table.
But hey! Most anybody there was a tourist. So no reason to hurry, no last train to catch to get home ...
Crossing over from the resort at which we stayed to the Hua Kati Cafe was not because we were particularly unhappy with the resort. It simply were too different "levels of elegance". And we selected according to our mood.
(If there had been a special occasion, like to celebrate an anniversary, we might as well have chosen the resort's restaurant or even the more "romantic looking" setting in one of the "table tents" on the...

This family-run restaurant is the perfect place - delicious food with a beautiful sea view and your feet in the sand! It is not so crowded! The owner/staff is very friendly and can speak English.
Would you like to enjoy the island flair, good food and a delicious cocktail in your hand, lying on a deck chair in the sun and looking at the sea with a smile on your face? Or would you like a romantic dinner with your loved one? Then this is the right place!
The music played there is also really nice. During the day, soft reggae or house music is played and at night you can hear chillout, ambient or downtempo.
I stayed at a resort near Hua Kati for a month and have been here countless times because I liked it so much!
You can choose from a huge selection of food and drinks! Everyone finds the right dish and it was always delicious. I have tried many different dishes! So you can trust me :D

At that point we gave up and asked for the bill and we’ve had another surprise - our baby had a portion of rice and egg and these people charged us as a full main dish price.
All this without commenting on the actual place which is a complete mess.
Definitely won’t be back again, if you respect yourself, you will...
