Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Me and my partner have been travelling for 4 months now and have never written a review because we’re not like that. However, I felt the need to let anyone planning on staying here know how awful our experience was here. Firstly, we have never felt so unwelcome walking into a hostel (can get over this because it’s very cheap) the next day I became ill with food poisoning and could not get out of the bathroom all day. On one occasion I missed the bathroom and hit our towels so my partner went down to ask for more to have a shower with because they were not un-usable—to be told we couldn’t have anymore towels and she didn’t know where the towel cupboard was and the cleaner had left???? I would understand normally but I had been really ill and instead of showing any customer service she decided to shout at my partner as he was shocked she wouldn’t let us. He then came back upstairs to find the exact towel cupboard open with towels???? So he took 2. The next morning, we checked out pronto because we didn’t want to stay here any longer and she refused to give our passports back before “checking the room”?? As she came down, she then went from 0-100 shouting and pointing in our faces “you can’t help yourself to towels”. I then explained the situation and she still proceeded to say we are not allowed anymore towels regardless of the fact I was ill on them????? This is disgusting. We weren’t going to steal the towels? What was the issue in us having 2 clean towels?? She then went on to say we should’ve said before the cleaner had left- how were we meant to know that it was going to happen???||If that’s not bad enough, the room was horrendously stuffy- fan was really not worth even being on and the air on was another 200TBH - nearly the price of the room- try work that out??||The window didn’t fully shut so we had some friends with us for the night- ended the stay with food poisoning and lovely bites definitely||My advise would be to avoid Krabi at all costs but if you go- do...
