Major problems at this hotel are service and cleanliness. I acknowledged that the hotel is aged and located uphill. Which is fine by me. The hotel information it shows on the website, pictures, and facilities that hotel publishing are worth trying compared with the price. Unfortunately, I do not realize how bad the service it could be. And hotel cleanliness didn't meet the standard SHA+ Around 4:00pm we did hotel check in with the hotel receptionist, Mr. Ball Akaradech who gave us a key card for triple room. I asked about the the way to my room by myself no direction no information telling or no bellboy of course. Anyway, we got a room at the last building uphill. Once we get into the room I found out that there was noway this room could possibly be a triple room 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 55sqm that we got confirmed by the hotel online booking system for sure. There was only one bed and the size was not even half. So, I walk down to the reception and Mr. Ball want me to go back to the room just to give him back the key card before he verify that the room was a triple room I reserved or not. I refused to go back and asked if the maid can bring him the keycard instate of me or him running around by ourselves. It wasted of time. After all, we got a room changed to be a triple room. 2 beds, but not 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. However, the room was big enough for all of us and I need a room for online meeting by the evening, so I agree to do move in. (FYI, poor hotel wifi, luckily I brought my own wireless modem router for better connection) However, we out in the evening, once we returned, I founded out that there was only 3 small towels no big one for the body. And the point is, there're all musty and rancid. So, I walked down to the reception and reported what's going. Mr. Ball solved the problem by given me the pool towels and I accepted. At night around 11:40pm I went to bed and smelled unclean pillows. So, I call reception and Mr.Ball answered again. He refused to change the pillows for us, but he said he will reported the manager and see what the manager will reply in this case. Few minutes later I called back and he offered refund instead. It surprised me what kind of services it was. So, I answered that if he can find me the new hotel for this late night I would love to move out as well. Of course, he could not. So, I asked for the supervisor contact and he refused to pass any information to me. So, I decided to write on this Google map and hope sooner or later the hotel management will acknowledge what is the problem that make guests unwant to stay and leave negative review to the hotel.

Overall I was disappointed. Like others have said, the hotel is located up a very steep hill. It's definitely a hike to get up or down. Some taxi/coaches refuse to go up it, as it is very steep. There is no concierge, so you'll be carrying your own luggage. The hotel is badly designed, its multiple buildings, laid out over different levels. The newest rooms are in the back building, also furthest away. They come with a nice multi plug, so all phone charges should fit. But the closest rooms are older, with no such modern accessories. There's one lift in the hotel, but it only services 1 block of rooms. With no walk ways to other blocks. So if your part of a group and your rooms aren't in the same block, you'll be going up and down alot of stairs. The reception staff are open 24hours, but are almost unless. They don't do anything, or they don't have the keys to get in to anywhere. Eg. My partner needed ice to bring some swelling down. But they don't have access to the kitchen or fridges, because that's owned by another company... Same for asking for another pillow, because they don't have access to housekeeping. Later, there was a bunch of guys that came from clubbing, starting having a rave in the room below us at 4am. Reception didn't want to know or care. It was only a bunch of people telling em to "F-ing go to sleep" that resolved the situation. I have to say, I thought housekeeping was amazing. Clean rooms, nice people. They are the superstars of this hotel. We also got locked out of our room and ended up moving, they said it was an upgrade, but it's was negligible. Yes, we got a sea view. But the bathroom was like stepping back in time. Finally, facilities wise. There's no spa, there's no gym. They say they can do a spa in your room, but it didn't seem like a good idea, when there's way better places around. They do moped hire. But didn't try it myself. I personally feel like the hotel just doesn't care. They could do stuff to improve the service, but they don't. They could reopen the gym and spa, but haven't. They could help you with your luggage, but they don't... I feel there are better hotels in the area.

This is the first time my partner and I have visited Thailand and what an experience. We were due to arrive after the designated check-in time due to our flight times and first impressions of the staff were great (we rang ahead to inform), they we very accommodating and assured us there would be someone at reception to check us in on our arrival (we arrived about 9pm local time). The staff are a great asset, all of them are always happy to assist you with any advice or to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Tan the manager is very friendly and helpful, she assisted us in booking various trips. They have a taxi service that are prepared to take you anywhere on the island at a very reasonable price. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the housekeeping staff are friendly and professional. They have a breakfast service everyday, not a massive amount of choice but better than other hotels I've stayed at in the past, they don't have an evening restaurant but the lunch service is perfect, my favourite is the Pengang! The grounds are well kept and maintained, the pool area is certainly one of the best I've seen (no screaming/splashing children), there are showers and toilets facilities which again are clean. The location is great, perched up on the hillside at the south end of Patong, Patong's bustling centre is a 15/20 minute walk away, the only downside is that to access the hotel there is a steep hill to climb (very well known to the local taxi drivers but a bit of bartering will get you a taxi from the centre of town back and will cost you 200-300 Baht). To conclude I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, thank you to all the staff for the amazing hospitality.

Got the room 4203 allocated with a 2+1 bed setup. The AC setup is simply hopeless, which does not cool the area where one sleeps (queen bed and single bed)! Complained about the ineffective cooling, given the fact that Phuket is experiencing an enormous heat wave, the receptionist sent a technician, who initially cleaned the dust from the air filter and left, while this made no difference to the cooling part, we lodged another complaint and a different technician visited this time and barely dusted the external exhaust, there was no clarity on what was done and when questioned, the technician was rude and banged the door on us as he left, as this was not seeming to get addressed, we reached out to have the room changed, this was around 4:30pm local time, the hotel expects us to check in by 3pm, which we did accordingly, strangely, with repeated request to change the room, there was no proper acknowledgement or next steps. Since it was late, we requested again n went to bed as we had to explore the city next day!

After we reached the hotel the next day after our exploration, it was around 9pm, we requested for a refill of shower gels and water bottles, the front desk agent clearly denied our request stating that there won't be any services after 7pm daily, this is not mentioned elsewhere in the policies which is wierd and awkward way to treat guests. Further when we brought the point about room change which was not addressed, the agent started being rude and impractical without caring about the our pain point, he kept intimidating stating that if there were no actions taken yesterday, the guest at the hotel must follow up in the next morning! Despite knowing the fact that guests visit Thailand to explore and would mostly start early during the day.

When requested for a refill of toiletries and drinking water around 9pm, THERE WERE STATEMENTS such as "IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET IT ACCOMMODATED AFTER 7 PM" I cannot imagine a service industry that is into hospitality being so stringent about a queer policy they have made for their own benefit, the argument went on and then came the point of changing the room, when we regarded the pain point, while standing there dripping with sweaty clothes because of lack of proper cooling, the agent further made remarks like, I'm not sure of why or what makes you sweat so much (can't expect someone to be so cheap instead of addressing the concern), while other guests looking at this heated argument, we took the agent to the room to check it himself and while he came to the room, he agreed that the cooling was inefficient and was not cooling the area where it was necessary (the when size bed area), he further went on to change the room and provided the refill of toiletries (which earlier was told that it gets outsourced and was stocked out, there was literally a big bag filled with what was required) this change over of the room was offered the night before we checked out in the morning (we barely had 7 hours before checking out) while I appreciate the efforts made towards the end, this could have been a pleasant and remarkable experience if this was addressed the first night!

The matter of concern here barring the pseudo modesty offered towards the end, fearing for a negative review is the sheer negligence of the staff in addressing concerns raised, they have this tendency to shake things off of their shoulder. On top of it, every room has a big list of what not to do (for the guests) and a hefty list of penalty for tampering anything that's there (while most of them are not offered in the first place), if you request for a room service, new bath towels are expected of guests to go and return at the counter while you check out😆 (this is heights of stupidity). Nevertheless, the changed room (4205) was also defective, there was only one functional light, did not raise this concern knowing that it wouldn't make any difference☹️

The pros here are only the location and convenience to reach patong beach. The con is staying here with an expectation of hospitality...

Day 1: Upon arriving early the nice lady at the front desk checked me in early and she upgraded my room to a deluxe double with a king size bed. I had booked a cozy room with a king size bed and for once I did not want an upgrade. The first room I stayed at was dated that it did not feel cozy. The walls were so dirty and there were stains on the curtains. The sofa was so old that it was ripping apart. The washroom had a tub with a shower but no shower curtains. The walls are not soundproof neighbours making so much noise. The person above me were stomping their feet so hard as they were walking around in the middle of the night. Day 2: Came back to the hotel right before midnight to no running water. I barely got to shower. Had to brush my teeth using a bottle of water. Couldn’t flush the toilet. Woke up the next morning went and complained. They offered me a free breakfast said the water would be back in the next hour. After breakfast I went to my room still no water. Went to the pool for 2hrs than return back to my room and still no water. I went and asked to switch room where there is running water. The nice lady immediately switched me to the cozy room I originally booked and let me tell you how nicer it was. It’s in the newer building. It’s got a modern feel to it. The shower has two shower head. The AC is really cold. The bed was a bit hard but the room was perfect for myself. I was comfortable.I had originally booked this hotel for 4nights but wanted to stay longer because I like my room so much. I ended up staying only one more night because my room was fully booked on the Saturday. To keep my room for that one extra night the nice guy working the evening shift allowed me to book the standard room because it was cheaper and still had me keep my cozy room since it was still available. After that I must book the deluxe double if I wanna stay longer since all the cozy room was fully booked. I decided to pass on that since I already know what kind of room I was going to get. So if you are planning on staying here book the cozy room in the newer building it’s more nicer. Not sure about everyone else’s room that was in the old building but I got a feel of both room. The pool is relaxing and they have a shuttle bus that will take you to Potong Beach and Jungceylon mall. The staff is really nice and helpful. The only issue is the hotel is located on top of the hill. It’s not that bad going down but going back up the hill in the heat is brutal. I enjoy this hotel. My review is based on my second room as the staffs were really...
