I visited because of the prior reviews, however, I share a dissimilar experience. While the service was decent (placed my order, and flagged down staff to closeout and pay) the taste of the food is very basic.. unseasoned and lacking in flavor. The pasta had barely any sauce or chicken (as pictured) and left so much to desire. I decided to take it home to doctor it up before finishing. The pizza is sub par. Nothing special and would not return for more. Not quite sure where all of the extraordinary reviews have accumulated from.

Edit: While the owner has provided a response and has requested a reconsideration of my review, I will adjust the "service" rating and provide additional comment instead, as I know my review is a fair representation of my experience. What I find peculiar is the owners statement regarding my "mood". In the absence of a behavioral science or psychology degree, such a statement should have been withheld. There was no particular "mood" exhibited from me, and one can only assume that such a misinformed presumption may be due to lack of interaction with diverse communities.

In response to my reply regarding my experience, the food that was provided was crafted with the restaurant staffs best effort, as the owner noted. As such, I am capable of understanding and accepting the effort provided, although it was not the standard that I expected. If more sauce, seasoning, and chicken would have made the pasta exceptional, the dish would have been provided to me that way initially and without request for alteration.

Walking into Pizza Lab feels like stepping into a culinary sanctuary, where every dish sings the praises of authentic Italian craftsmanship. I am genuinely not exaggerating when I state that this place served the worst Italian food that has ever touched my palate. I could have made instant noodles that were cooked better than the chewy undercooked Carbonara. There was also no flavour with the Carbonara, and it was simply extremely salty, not dissimilar from the ocean water I swallowed whilst on my Phi Phi Island.

The pizzas were extremely underwhelming and the pizza bases were not properly cooked and charred. The dough was still raw in certain places and there was still flour on the bottom of the pizzas.

The mango shakes were made with fake artificial mango flavouring which was extremely harsh and was not what I was expecting, especially when they were charging double the price of street stalls for a drink.

Overall, I would highly recommend any individuals that respect their taste buds to avoid this eatery at all costs - even a visit to any fast food joint would lead to higher satisfaction.

EDIT: I genuinely believe that the majority of positive reviews for this establishment are fake or purchased. There is simply no reasonable explanation that this appalling place has the reviews it has attained.
