Residence By Hello Pattaya At Veranda — Hotel in Pattaya City

Good apartment with a great beach side pool. This place is a bit out of the way, not really near Jomtien at all, but a short walk takes you to some good restaurants though The sea is not good for swimming as it seemed rather dirty and the water was too warm and less refreshing than the lovely pool.

The apartment was ok for 2 people, however manoeuvring to the right hand side of the bed was difficult as there is not enough room at the foot of the bed. Doing away with the large upholstered bed head would leave more room. The bed was very comfortable though. We were only given 2 towels and when we asked for more to use at the pool, a heated WhatsApp exchange ensued. Once the host realised a mistake had been made and the beach towels had been mistakenly not left for us it was all sorted out when the cleaners arrived the next day. Why the host couldn’t have just sent 2 more towels to us (as they did with the missing toaster) I don’t know?! Instead they kept arguing the point! Whatever happened to “the customer is always right”? There is a top loader washing machine which only uses cold water, a few pods of detergent for the cost of a few baht could have been provided, but we were told to buy our own. The couch was very stained, but after the cleaners covered it with a sheet it was ok to use. The apartment was very clean, the cleaners did a good job. There is no hot water in the whole apartment except for the shower! We were told this is a “Thai thing” which seems a bit weird having to boil the kettle when you want to wash dishes. Apart from these relatively minor things we had a lovely stay and despite the host being argumentative (at first) it all worked out OK, …….at least the host responded very quickly every time, even if their responses were not what we necessarily...

Everything in there was a disaster except for the location. It has a nice views to the sea and sunset. The apartment is not bad , but the maintaining of everything is terrible bad. The second shower have so little water pressure, the air conditioner was leaking water in top of the TV and cables (risk of fire) , a piece of wood from the bathroom ceiling did drop on top of my girlfriend almost hitting her head ( very dangerous, I told to the owner and she just said "sorry for the inconvenience " like they just don't care to compensate it.There was a cockroach in the room .The cleaning in the toilet was disgusting, there was marks of somebody pee in the toilet sitting ( none of us sit for pee so it's impossible to be us ) , the bathroom have a lot of moist and black things.There is no washing machine, no sleepers,no toothbrush . The cleaning staff was rude , my girlfriend thank to the guy before they start the cleaning and he didn't even answer .For the price (expensive almost 400$ for 3 nights ) , I find it totally unforgivable all this mistakes , they really need to improve on...

Sad to say, our room was not cleaned at arrival,was smelling , the sofa and bed not cleaned 😢.

The view was stunning, but the place not so cleaned. One of the air-conditioning not working properly ( warm in the room) We booked for 4 nights, after 1st night we requested to change our room, they said not possible, so we check out after 1 night. They didn't want to refund as well 😕.

Hopefully they will improve for a better...
