Skoop Beach Café Pattaya — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Skoop is part of the Veranda Resort. It offers burgers (and has a separate burger truck branded 'Burgler' in the garden), ice cream, and waffles. Seating: 28 outdoor on the terrace, 12 outdoor on the rooftop, 23 outdoor on the lawn; and 26 indoor.

Food: 6/10. I ordered the double cheese wagyu burger with curly fries. The burger was good, and fries acceptable. Truffle mayo was OK, standard ketchup a bit disappointing.

Service: 4/10. Quite impersonal (think cash register operator at the supermarket) - what you'd expect if they were really busy, but they weren't, I saw 23 customers while here for 30 minutes. I had to ask for a receipt (they didn't offer it when I paid, and was told to take a photo as they needed to keep the receipt for their kitchen chit).

Price: 4/10. Expensive. Burger was THB229+++ (yes, that's 3+s), but fries were daylight robbery (or maybe burglery?) at THB175+++. Average check: THB500/person

Tried out this ice cream place which is located at the Veranda. The place has a spacious outdoor space and some indoor seatings. They offer ice creams, waffles, coffee, and other drinks. During this long weekend, many people came not only for the desserts but also it’s a photo op place as well. Today, tried out the ice cream + fancy cones. It costs 135฿ for 2 scoops and extra 40฿ for the cone. Got the yuzu orange sorbet and peanut butter oreo. The flavour is more on the mild side, on the other hand the texture is really creamy for the ice cream & light for the sorbet which were perfect. The portion is...

This place offers many choices of ice cream flavors, which some are good and some so-so. But I do love vanilla ice cream, they use the real vanilla bean in it as well. We ordered waffles with caramelized banana which tastes great. Cold green tea drink is also rich in flavor. We also tried burger food truck, burger is great and worth value. But the fries are not so good.

Overall, I would recommend this place who has a free time to enjoy nice...
