Asira Boutique Hua Hin Hotel — Hotel in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

My stay at this hotel was highly disappointing, as there were significant discrepancies between what was promised and what was delivered, particularly concerning hospitality.|​Disappointing Vegan Options and Unresponsive Staff|​Prior to our stay, we received written confirmation via WhatsApp and email that the hotel offered a variety of vegan breakfast options and that staff could assist with special preparations. However, upon arrival, this was completely contradicted. We were informed that only one vegan dish was available, and no additional preparations could be made. This was very frustrating, as we had planned our stay based on these assurances.|​The staff's unresponsiveness was another major issue. We found it nearly impossible to reach the front desk by phone. On one occasion, I needed to contact them urgently and called for over 30 minutes with no answer. I had to walk to the reception in person, which is not what you expect in an emergency.|​Room and Cleanliness Issues|​The rooms were decent in size, but the amenities were problematic. The air conditioning was outdated and consistently ran too cold, making the room uncomfortable. The balcony was also unusable for most of our stay, as it was not covered and was wet from rain 90% of the time.|​A recurring issue was the cleanliness of the cups provided in the room. I had to request fresh cups multiple times, but each replacement was also unclean and had an unpleasant smell.|​Final Impression|​Overall, my experience at this property was a series of letdowns. I say surprised, because I went in with some reservations as to whether this hotel was going to be ok. I had stayed at the Maven Stylish hotel in Hua Hin for 6 nights prior to this hotel and the Maven was supposed to be a better quality hotel and was more expensive.|However, besides the central location for the Maven, the Asira Boutique hotel was equal to, and in some aspects better than the Maven.|The room we had was very nice (I think it was a deluxe room - room 204). Plenty of room for 2 people; very comfortable bed; a large bathroom area (only complaint I would have was the rain shower head not working properly); all the toiletries you need including bottled water; good wifi; and a balcony area with a large double lounge bed.|The pool was excellent; plenty of room for swimming and a great water temperature.|The breakfast was more than adequate; a mixture of Asian and western foods and a great start to the day.|The location for the Asira hotel is not as central as the Maven hotel, but it has plenty of restaurants, 7/11, Big C, cafes, banks, laundry, etc close by. It's a short walk to the beach and only a 5 minute taxi to the Hua Hin night market or another 5 minutes to the Cicada night market which is open Fri - Sunday.|In terms of value for money, this place is fantastic value!! We stayed at Asira for a week and can recommend it. The rooms are well equipped, new, big and clean. We’d a triple room de Luxe for three people which was big enough. May an additional cupboard is missing for clothes but all the rest is fine. Free water bottles every day. The fresh water pool is huge and at the second floor is a gym. The whole hotel is lovely decorated with many plants.

Breakfast was ok but nothing special. A bit boring after a couple of days as they were no changes at all. Snacks and drinks available for lunch at the pool.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Especially the front desk had an answer to every question.

Located in the heart of Hua Hin with many restaurants, bars and stores just around. Can be a bit loud at night so make sure you don’t have a room in the front part of the hotel. Restaurant we can recommend is Chaolay Seafood at the pier close to Hilton Hotel. Very authentic , excellent seafood and fair prices.Try the Lobster.

Night markt in 10min. walking distance. The beach is 3min away but not as nice as the other beaches in the south of Hua Hin.
