Needing a hotel for a few days whilsy having renovations at our house, decided to use S4 about 10 mins from our home. It is situated in a very rural area, amongst low cost housing with nearest convenience store or restaurants a good 10 to 15 minutes walk although there is a very local restaurant within 5 mins walk. Called S4 Naiyang Beach it is no where near the beach and again is a good 15 to 20 mins walk. I felt the hotel very 'cold' . The ground floor rooms are situated on a long pictureless echoing corridoor ...felt like being in a hospital. Rooms however are large but again very basic with no pictures...etc to soften it. No minibar, but has large fridge!, kettle, two small bottles of complimentary water, coffee but no sachets of tea.the bathroom small but adequate however no window or extractor system. Shower gel and shampoo dispensers no other ameneties that hotels offer. Shower is heated by an electric water heater and cannot be accessed so temperature can not be altered. One nice thing about the room we had on the ground floor is that it had its own private door leading to the garden and small pool.||It appeared this hotel is only interested mainly Chinese market, with bus loads on an overnight basis and therefore as you can imagine quite noisey. In my opinion even to stay for one night although fairly close to the airport there are better places to choose from and within easy walking distance to restaurants...
Read moreIt was my first time traveling in Southeast Asia, and Phuket happened to be the first destination of many that followed. I didn't know what to expect at all, and I wasn't sure how the Sandbox program was going to pan out for me. So I had mentally prepared myself for the worst... Once I arrived at S4 Naiyang Beach, however, I felt reassured that I had no reason to be (too) tense. From the moment I checked in until the moment I checked out, Ice and his family were all very helpful as well as hospitable. While I was quarantined for the Sandbox program, they neatly plated every dish that I ordered for delivery. When I needed a way to get around town, they had a rental motorbike delivered to the hotel parking lot. When I needed to refuel, they personally accompanied me to help. It was also convenient that Ice was fluent in English, not to mention very prompt and responsive to requests. They also have the an adorable dog and a beautiful cat. (Don't worry. If you're allergic, like me, the animals are cared for in a separate area.) After S4 Naiyang Beach, I went on to see more of Phuket, other cities and provinces, and even a neighboring country. But even after a month of traveling, S4 Naiyang Beach yet remains one of my fondest memories in Thailand. Oh, and the rooms are clean...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Phuket, Thailand, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were nothing short of amazing, friendly, and accommodating. They made sure that my friend and I were taken care of throughout our entire stay. The hotel was extremely clean, and the rooms were spotless. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning the rooms from top to bottom daily, and they even provided fresh linen every day. Additionally, they offered complimentary water daily, which was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it the perfect place to start my Thai adventure. My room was a power-saving room, which meant that if I left the room, the power would go out until I returned. This was a bit of an adjustment, due to the outside humidity. The air conditioning in the room was powerful, which was a blessing given how hot it was in Thailand. The bed was super comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep every night of my stay. It's close to the beach and a lot of street food, and spa massages near. Overall, I am extremely happy with my experience at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable...
