The kitchen is not clean. They really need to improve the cleanliness. Look at the towel, do the workers not wash their hands properly if the towel is so dirty? I wouldn’t dare to eat a salad here, only cooked food. Regarding the food, first I tried a simple dish, and it was nothing special: a burnt egg and a lot of oil. However, it was cheap, just 100 baht including Thai tea.
Glass noodles with shrimp was pretty good but too oily (200 baht). Shrimp was not peeled which is ridiculous, I don’t like eating them with a bowel.
The sea bass with lime and chili was tasty, but the portion was small (250 bath). It was half a fish. The sauce was good, but it was too much of it, the fish was floating in it.
Tom yum with three mushrooms was fine, I’m not a fan of Tom Yum, so hard to say.
Crab fried in yellow curry powder (400 baht) was extremely salty, almost inedible. Moreover, I had to eat it without rice because they brought overcooked mushy rice.
I still don’t dare to eat uncooked food there like salad because of food poisoning complaints.
That’s true that waiters don’t smile, but they just seem to be tired or maybe not comfortable, we don’t know what the work environment they have, so I wouldn’t judge them. They are not rude for sure,...
Read moreI wish I could leave fantastic review since I was really looking forward to this place thanks to Michelin recommendation that is always good. Planned it as my last dinner in Phuket and came there at 20:30 just to be told that the restaurant was closed. It was full of customers at that time. Maps and menu clearly mention closing time 22:00 though. After some broken English “conversation” staff seemed just giving up and letting me in saying that the kitchen closes in 5 minutes, so I randomly chose something without a chance to check the menu. Right after, I found what I wanted and asked to change the order, but the girl replied that it was being cooked already. The food arrived much later of course, after all the other tables were served. Fried garlic squid costed 220 bath and was tasteless, rather looked like junky bar snack. Later I found plenty of stinky raw garlic in a sauce that came with the dish. What was the worse that the only available table for me was right under the badly adjusted agressive airconditioner that gave me heavy headache and immediate throat pain. 2 hours after sunset, outside was comfortable enough. Some guests came at 9pm and were seated with no problem. Staff never smile and look...
Read moreI can't believe there aren't any photo or reviews on this little gem! Walked by and decided to give it a try when I looked at the menu, prices, what was served on tables. They have outdoor and air con indoor seating area. Accomodate children with high chair and even child plate. I chose the Phuket style pineapple fried rice with porc. It was amazing. Had cashew nuts, raisins, peas, carrots, pineaple, porc, fried shallots and nicely spiced and in a generous size for 70THB. Not oily at all. Lots of places have these prices but half the size, drenched in oil and certainly not with all the above ingredients. Lots of HotPots options. Extensive menu. Great for a group where you order few plates to share. I will go again and...
