I totally agree you can't expect a lot for such price but there is something like sense of service which does not cost any money and you can't find it here. I can compare this guest house to other cheap hotels I tried in Tunisia and this one is the worst. Firstly, bad infrastructure that will stop you from using a shower. Weird smell of bedclothes, old towels. During all my stay I had a feeling this place was miserable and depressive. Maybe because instead of polite "Welcome" I saw troubled face of receptionist. Who does not speak english nor french. I thought my arrival was a touble and unexpected surprise for them... When it comes to check out, I was asked to leave my room point 12. I was ready to leave but I found it unnecessary to bother me by knocking on my door, especially because hotel was empty and they were not in a rush to accept new guests. Not really friendly. Do not expect Internet in your room. It works only at reception. Breakfast composed of baguette pieces with one sample of butter and marmelade. Plus coffee and a cake. I was not asked what I would like for breakfast, I was just served like that so I guess thats all they offer. BEWARE there is no closing time, you are told breakfast starts at 8 and you're suppose to be there at this time. I ate at 10 once but was refused to use outdoor terrace on a lovely sunny day and ate at reception just because I was too late. Terrace was empty. Apparently would cause too much trouble going out to clean a table. The staff was polite and had a correct attitude, was just not too representative nor trying to satisfy their guests. Good and cheap hotel restaurant though, serving fresh food and...
