We stayed there few days at the end of December and was a very nice. The hotel is around 10 minutes walking from Medina, 15 from Railway station. But it is an excellent location because is enough far to be quiet and enough closed to reach it easily. However medina of Monastir is nice but not a typical ‘romantic’ arab medina to want to stay there. We had a nice room with an extraordinary view to sea and to the old fisher harbor (formerly pirate harbor). Was nice to take a seat on balcony evening time and enjoy the nice view.||Room was very clean and meets European standards. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived there without booking and the employee at reception managed immediately for us a baby cot before we asked them. This kind of attention is not usual in Tunisia and this hotel was the only one who provided us a cot during our three weeks trip. And this is the reason why I rate it with "excellent" even would be only "good" or "very good".||I can say only one negative thing that walls and doors are a bit slim. If you are a young couple please mean at others – for eg. those who travelling with baby – and they are only dreaming that you doing.||Due Tunisian standards I consider it a very good hotel and a good value. Well...
Read moreThe staff is very kind and helpful, always smiling and they always made sure I was spending a good time. The location is very good as it is very close to the beach and not too far from the Ribat and the train station (15 minutes walking). There are lots of businesses around. The view from my room on the beach was special. The room had all the essentials that I needed during my stay, and it was fine for the price that I had paid. The breakfast was also good as it had various elements to get all the nutriments needed in the morning (eggs, yogurts, bread with butter and jam, coffee, tea...) and the server asked if I wanted anything else, but that was enough for me. Relatively to the price that I've paid, my experience in this hotel is a 10. If you're looking for a luxurious service with modern rooms and elaborated breakfasts, I'm sure there are some 5 stars hotels somewhere...
Read moreWe ended up staying for 2 nights with half pension and were very pleased with the entire experience. As it was off season (November). We had a room facing the water with a small balcony and breakfast and dinner for 62TND. Breakfast was very nice. The first day the coffee was weak?nescafe???and when I complained they made a very nice cappucino for me. They went out of their way to amend any areas which may have catered to a different client such as the type of coffee.||The dinner was nice with professional service. The first night I had a nice fish and my husband had a very nice steak. Each evening the entres were varied. Reception was also very helpful and the cleaning staff were also very pleasant. For the price for off season it was a good experience. The hotel has a bar on the lower level, but they close around 8pm so it is very quiet...
