Hôtel Ras El Aïn Tozeur — Hotel in Maghreb

It takes a lot for me to find bad points of any hotel as I'm usually very easy to please however I've had to write this honest review of this hotel...||||1st impressions of outside and lobby look lovely. ||That's where it ends||||Room.. had room 221 I believe it was last week. Stayed for one night only thank god as part of a sahara trip.||||Soon as we walked in the room stank. ||someone's pee and loo roll still in toilet so this obviously hadn't even been cleaned, absolutely discusted. ||toilet roll black either end of it. Luckily I had tissues with me.||bed side lamp broken||toothpaste still around cups in bathroom they were also generally filty||lolly pop sticks shoved down drain in bathroom sink||stained shower curtain which is too long for the bath so we were treading on the curtain in shower.||water kept going hot and cold||3 long jet black hairs on twin beds. (Me and my sister are blond so no chance came from us)||pillows very used and bumpy||paint stain on side board||bath dirty||can feel every spring in the very soft, worn out bed. I almost fell through it sitting on it.||* TWO COCKROCHES! running around in room, we managed to kill one but one went under the bed. ||||With all these points esp the found cockroaches we were afraid to sleep so we finally decided to just lie fully clothed on top of all covers gone 2am as we were scared to pull cover over incase we found the other cockroach or anything else. ||||We were meant to get a 4am phone call to wake us. They phoned at 3am so we thought they decided to get us up earlier. Went downstairs for 3.30am to find out they called us by mistake!! Good job we wernt sleeping anyway and we wanted out the room.||||Hallway to room looked like something out of a horror movie. ||||Pool apparently open 24 hours so makes me wonder how it gets cleaned.||||Finally the food! Went for dinner, tried chicken which was so cold it was like they took it from the fridge, pasta dish I thought they were cooking fresh so I tried that and oddly even tho just cooked was still cold so obviously not cooked enough and there was so much garlic in it that it actually felt like it was burning our throats, couldn't find tongs for pizza so asked for some. The waiter told us to just use our hands. Not very hygienic at all! I ate one slice pizza and tried that chicken and pasta and couldn't stomach anything else. My sister just had salad and bit pasta. We felt If we ate any more we would get food poisoning. Following day my sister felt really ill and had bad stomach. Breakfast we decided to eat nothing as wasn't worth the risk. Concerned about the hygiene in this hotel esp if they can't even clean the toilet in the bedroom! ||||I was absolutely appalled by everything here. Glad was only one night. Also beds have bed bugs. Next day we were covered in bites in our scalp, legs and arms and could have only been from the bed as prior to this we didn't have any bites at all. ||||I would avoid this hotel...

Avoid this hotel at all costs. A 4* hotel that doesn't even deserve to be a hotel. One of the worst experiences I had in a long time, the staff was unprofessional and had no idea how to treat a guest. We booked one week and we stayed 4 nights before running away. 4 nights in 3 different rooms. The first room we got looked completely abandoned. Nothing was working, the sink, the heating. We booked a tripel room, we got a double room with a sofa for three adult guests. We complained at the reception, but nothing changed. Dinner was average at best. Next morning they called me telling me that we needed to change rooms because of maintenance. So we carried our luggage down the stairs to the reception and we were told we would find them in our rooms. We came back in the afternoon and we had to carry our luggage to the new room. This one was much better, at least clean and heated, so we thought we could stay and enjoy our time. We stayed 2 nights, then they called me the next evening, again, telling me we needed to change rooms again, for whatever reason... We had no choice because it was already late and they would cut the water and heating if we didn't change rooms. Again we had to carry our luggage ourselves. No one even thought about giving us a hand. The next morning we took our stuff and left the hotel. They even refused to refund the...

ที่หมายสำหรับค่ำคืนนี้คือเมืองโทเซอร์||||โทเซอร์ (Tozeur) เป็นเมืองในภาคใต้และเป็นโอเอซิสขนาดใหญ่ ของตูนิเซีย เป็นแหล่งของต้นปาล์ม และอินทผลัม มีชื่อเสียงโดดเด่นทางสถาปัตยกรรมการใช้อิฐสีเหลืองและสีน้ำตาลอ่อน อีกทั้งรูปแบบทางเรขาคณิตที่เรียบง่าย แต่สมบูรณ์แบบ เป็นสถาปัตยกรรมที่แตกต่างและสวยงามที่สุดของตูนิเซีย||||คืนนี้เราเข้าพักที่โรงแรมในเครือ Golden Yasmine เหมือนเมื่อวานครับ||ซึ่งในวันนี้เป็นโรงแรม Golden Yasmine Ras Al Ain Tozeur ซึ่งเป็นโรงแรมขนาด 4 ดาวในเมือง Tozeur ปากทางทะเลทรายซาฮาร่านั่นเอง ตอนที่เรามาถึงนั้นทั้งเหนื่อยจากการนั่งรถที่ยาวนาน ทั้งเพลียจากการเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในสถานที่ต่างๆโดยเฉพาะที่เมืองโบราณ ของอาณาจักรโรมัน ที่กินพื้นที่กว้างขวางมาก และเมื่อมาถึงก็สัมผัสได้ถึงอากาศที่หนาวเย็นมาก ถึงมากที่สุด ราว 5 - 8 องศาเซลเซียส ครับ||||หิวครับ||คือความรู้สึกแรกที่มาถึงโรงแรมเราเลือกที่จะเดินเข้าห้องอาหารก่อนที่จะจัดการกับกระเป๋า||||เรารับ mint tea ทันทีที่มาถึงโรงแรมครับ แน่นอนว่ามีรสชาดหวาน(มาก) นำมาก่อนเลยครับ||||สำหรับชาของที่นี่หากลดความหวานลงสักครึ่งหนึ่ง คงถูกปากชาวเอเชียที่นิยมมาพักที่นี่ไม่น้อยครับ ( ที่นี่มักมีชาวเอเชียกลุ่ม ญี่ปุ่น ไต้หวัน จีน เดินทางมาพักบ่อยมากครับ ) หลังจากรับกุญแจและลากกระเป๋าฝ่าความหนาวเย็นไปถึงห้องพักของผมที่อยู่อีกตึกหนึ่ง ซึ่งต้องเดินไปอีกราว 20 เมตร ก็ถึงห้องพักครับ ที่นี่ภายในห้องพื้นจะปูด้วยกระเบื้องครับ เย็นถึงเย็นจัดมากแทบเดินไม่ได้ ต้องใส่ถุงเท้าช่วยครับ ยิ่งเข้าใกล้เขตทะเลทรายมากขึ้นเท่าไหร่ อากาศยิ่งแตกต่างและเย้นอย่างรุนแรงเช่นนี้ครับ||||คืนนี้ลมแรงน่าดู อีกด้วยครับภายในห้องพักครับ ค่อนข้างกว้างขวางครับ แต่ Heater ทำงานได้ไม่เต็มประสิทธิภาพนัก อากาศไม่ได้อุ่นขึ้นเลย คิดว่าคืนนี้ผ้าห่มที่มีนั้นเอาไม่อยู่แน่ๆ ครับหัวเตียงตกแต่งด้วยอิฐที่มีชื่อเสียงและโดดเด่นทางสถาปัตยกรรมของโทเซอร์ ครับ ทุกพื้นที่ตกแต่งด้วยอิฐ ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของที่นี่ ครับ||หลังจากอาบน้ำเสร็จก็กลับมาสดชื่นทันทีครับ แต่อากาศภายในห้องไม่ได้อุ่นขึ้นเลยทั้งที่ heater ทำงานอยู่ อีกทั้งยังได้ยินเสียงลมจากภายนอกพัดเข้ามาแรงๆ บ่อยครั้งด้วย||||||ผมเลยรีบเดินหาตัวการ ครับ||||ในที่สุดก็เจอครับ หน้าต่างข้างเตียงที่ม่านปิดอยู่นั้น ปิดไม่สนิทครับ ถูกเปิดทิ้งไว้ค่อนข้างกว้างจึงทำให้อากาศที่เย็นและลมที่แรงพัดเข้ามาในห้องตลอดเวลาครับ ||||||หลังจากเสร็จสิ้นกับปัญหาแล้ว ผมออกมาเดินเล่นที่ lobby ครับ||ด้วยว่าคืนนี้จำเป้นต้องส่งงานทางเมล์ เลยลองเปิด wifi ดูปรากฎว่ามีสัญญาณขึ้นมาแรงมากครับและไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่ายด้วย||||ใช้เวลากับที่นี่นานหน่อย ทั้งส่งข่าวสารกบทางบ้าน ทั้งส่งงานและอื่นๆอีกมากมาย||เงยหน้าขึ้นมาอีกที เจอคนนั่งเต็มไปหมดครับ ทั้งพี่ๆที่ร่วมคณะมาด้วยกัน ทั้งแขกคนอื่นๆ ส่วนมากน่าจะมาจากจีนเพราะเหมือนจะเจอกันแว๊บๆ ที่ไครวน||||จนกรทั่งเกือบเที่ยงคืน ( ของที่นั่น บ้านเราก็ประมาณ 6 โมงเช้า - เวลาต่างกันราว 6 ชั่วโมงครับ ) ก็เดินกลับห้องพัก ภายในห้องอุ่นขึ้นเยอะครับ||||อากาศอุ่นๆในห้อง พร้อมกับเสียงและข่าวสารสารทุกข์สุกดิบจากคนใกล้ชิด เมื่อสักครู่ ก็อุ่นใจนอนหลับไปด้วยความสุขในคืนนั้นครับ||||จุดเด่นของที่นี่||||สรุปจุดเด่นของที่นี่น่ะครับ อาหารอร่อยมาก พ่อครัวใส่ใจกับลูกค้าที่มาเข้าพัก ห้องพักกว้างขวางและสะอาดมากครับ และมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกครบครัน ที่สำคัญ wifi ฟรี ในบริเวณ lobby ครับ||||||จุดที่ต้องพัฒนา||เหมือนเดิมกับที่ผ่านมา เรื่องของการบริการโดยพนักงาน ซึ่งมีน้อยมาก และที่ตั้งของโรงแรมอยู่ไกลชุมชน ดังน้นหากมาถึงเร้วละอยากออกไปเดินเล่นต้องเตรียมวางแผนไว้ล่วงหน้าครับ นอกจากนี้คือพื้นห้องที่ปูด้วยกระเบื้อง ซึ่งในช่วงหน้าหนาวจะเย็นจัดมาก ควรเตรียมถุงเท้าไปด้วย อรกทั้งอากาศในเขตเมืองนี้ซึ่งใกล้กบทะเลทราย จะมีอากาศที่รุนแรง คือร้อนก้จะร้อนจัดและหากหนาวเย้นก้จะหนาวเย้นมาก ควรเตรียมเสื้อผ้าไว้พอควรครับ||||ปล.โรงแรมนี้แลกเงินได้เช่นกันครับ และได้ในเรตที่เป้นกลางเท่ากันทั่วประเทศ อย่าลืมใบเสร้จน่ะครับ สำหรับที่นี่...
