Residence l’Oued — Hotel in Maghreb

We make our reservation through phone for 2 night excepting we will get a traditonal room but the surprise is that after making a late check in we finding like the room wasnt clean finding poop in toilet hair in floors and in bathroom and rings after complain i found out that they normalize things like that it can happen etc we change room and it was cold even remote of the AC wasnt avaible accpet a heater thats mske freaking noise we end up close it going breakfast day after the hk told me that room we did not clean that room already. And please in restaurant side please be smiling and positive especially to the pepole of your country do not end up make foreginers guests more important than us we also pay for our staying , even though i realize some foreginers guests get room cheaper than us. No towels no complimenters water or anything in room just breakfast serve with negative and angreness with the cheapest things u can find Overall the only good thing in this hotel the location where you can move around easily but except that this hotel can be improve way way better if they make a bit offer of provide...

This is a beautiful place to stay. It’s like a little paradise on the edge of the Palmerie. There are three people who work at reception, all of whom speak incredibly good English and can hook you up with very affordable tours and excursions. Before you book any excursions on your own, make sure you check with these guys first. They can find you the same tour for about half the price.|The rooms are huge. My room consisted of a large bathroom, a curtained off bedroom and a huge living room. While the dining room only caters to breakfast, they can actually have delicious food delivered to your door if you’re too tired to go out. The location is really great. It’s quiet and away from the noise of the street but only a half a block off the main thoroughfare. It’s easy to grab a taxi to go to the Medina or Belvedere rock, but it’s also a nice walk to either place. There are lots of restaurants within a half kilometer radius as well. |I stayed here four nights and I have to say, this place and Tozeur itself were my favorite...
