You don't usually find a full review that covers everything regarding a hotel and its services so I'll go ahead and do that. Le Corail Suites Hotel has been and always will be the best hotel that I have ever stayed at in my life of traveling. I have never seen such a beautiful hotel with exceptional services; especially the service of the workers. Usually when you stay at a hotel, you'll feel a bit out of place because it's neither a place you are familiar with or your home. So far, at Le Corail, I have never felt more at home. The location of this hotel is in one the most safest areas in Tunisia, Les Berges Du Lac 2. It is near the Tunisia Mall, La Marsa (a city in Tunisia), and the US Embassy. The Carthage International Airport is only a 10 minute drive. When you arrive at the hotel, (during the summer for me, for instance) you are given a cold refreshing towel that is not dipped in water, but rosewater and let me tell you-that was much much needed when I arrived at the hotel; especially after 2 delayed flights and lost baggage (wonderful service of Alitalia)+rushing in the heat. The rooms are spacious, clean, and furnished in a modern style. For instance, in our room there is a fully equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, sink, and fridge. The cleaning service of this hotel is perfect as well, there is no rushing when it comes to cleaning; we always come back to a spotless room with everything organized in it. It is the time of Ramadan right now (as I am writing this review) and I was beyond surprised at the quality of the food that was served. You are given 3 different meals which includes: the appetizer, the 1st course, and the main course. Not only that, but they then serve you dessert that consists of ice-cream and traditional Tunisian pudding to accommodate for the heat and assists in digesting the previous 3 course meal you were served. After that, you are served a refreshing warm cup of tea with fresh mint while a musician plays the Oud (an Arabic version of the guitar). The servers all wear real smiles and diligently fulfill the requests of each and every customer. A funny thing that happened was that I had a huge craving for this Tunisian donut called Bambalouni. The best Bambalouni is located in one of the busiest areas (tourist and local wise) in Tunisia- Sidi Bousaid. The hotels General Manager, who I had the wonderful pleasure of meeting, heard that I was craving it and guess what he did. He went all the over there and bought me an entire bag of Bambalouni. I was extremely touched because I have never seen any sort of treatment like this at any other hotel I have stayed at. If this isn't dedication and good service, then I don't know what is. Sure, it may be a bit out of your budget, but you must weigh out the pros and cons. An important key point in choosing a hotel is the service, location, and quality of the hotel itself. I'm sure that based off of everything I have explained in this review, you can probably make the conclusion that the pros weigh out the cons big time. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone to stay at because it is safe, friendly, clean, organized, and just a beautiful...
Read moreUnprofessional front desk service. Rented a hotel taxi for the last day and they didn't provide it. Asked the day before to have it and pay with credit card and they told me there will be no problem, I even checked the night before. To my surprise the next morning they didn't want to provide and it. The woman manager of the front desk was very rude and didn't provide any solution. Credit cards were not working and I haven't any local currency as this was my last day. They didn't want to exchange only the amount needed but 100 dollars, much more than I needed.
Reply to Karim I cannot reply directly, so I will update so future guests will not have to go through what I gone through.
I knew there was a hotel shuttle service, that's what I booked the day before, and double checked the night before leaving. It was written down in your book, which I pointed out to your manager but she didn't want to look. No issues with language there, I actually pointed it out, she nodded and said it wasn't available.
Regarding the card issues, I didn't experience it in the airport when leaving, so maybe yes, it was just bad luck at the moment of check out.
Regarding your exchange policy, I didn't request to exchange dinars to dollars, I just requested to not exchange the whole 100 USD bill that I had, so that's actually not giving back the currency since it was never exchanged in the...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Corail Hotel, and I must say that it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home.
The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and all the amenities one could need. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible.
In particular, I would like to extend my thanks to Khoulod, the receptionist who checked me in. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with, always smiling and willing to assist with any questions or concerns I had. Her hospitality truly made a difference in my stay, and I am grateful for her kindness.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Corail Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in the area. The excellent service and warm hospitality of the staff, especially Khoulod, truly made my stay a memorable one. Thank you again to everyone at the Corail Hotel for a...
