Quite controversial hotel. I was driven by high rating when choosing it but it’s hard to say that it fully deserves the bar set so high. While not being bad, I’d say there is a lot to improve (while some things would be hard to change).||Pros:||- Very professional and accommodating food & beverage team. I guess they are the ones who are driving the rating being so high. Fantastic crew of bar tenders, waiters, chefs. The food is way above average for the area while house-made deserts are just exceptional. 👍||- Great music set at the pool.||- Pool area itself is quite comfortable.||- Everyday cleaning with 2 bottles of water refilled👍||- Good internet👍||Cons:||- Very very small room, it’s not so clear from the photos but I would personally struggle to spend more than one night if I wouldn’t travel alone. My open suitcase didn’t fit between the bed and the wall, I had to move the bed.||- Smell of sewage across the hotel. After I stepped into my room first, I got dizzy from the strong smell coming from the bathroom. I then went to check the SPA downstairs and the smell there was so strong that it almost made me throw up on the massage table. Smell at the bathroom was fixed.||- Beach area is 1.5 km walk (which was known beforehand) with multiple transfer rounds a day. But the beach itself (which is rented and not managed by the hotel) is rather filthy. Sun beds and tables are outdated and mattresses on the sun bed beds look like you don’t really want to even sit on them.||- They claim “animation” 2-3 times a week. This animation is managed by leather shop owner and looks like: 10 mins Turkish dancing, 15 mins leather jacket demonstration, 5 mins lottery - if you are a winner, you are given a prize!! You can visit their leather shop the next day. So obviously everyone is a winner 😊||- Massage&Spa service is below average for the area. Not only the smell mention earlier but general impression.||- They only give one key with a room, which itself is not a big problem. But, all room sockets get disabled once you leave!! Meaning your minibar cooling and all chargers stop. I was able to get a second key but I had to ask hotel manager as I didn’t succeed with front desk. To do so, I had to visit managers office where person was sitting and I was trying explain my problem standing. It’s not a problem as I got what I asked for but it felt a bit wrong.||- Quite uncomfortable mattress and pillow. Bed linens are quite old or bad quality so you can feel the lints with your body. They are providing first beach towel for free (refresh for a fee), but the one I got fess looking rather filthy.||To summarize, this hotel can be a good offer once those issues are resolved. Before that, I’d maybe look for...
Read moreFrom the moment I arrived, the incredibly friendly and always smiling staff made me feel right at home. The housekeeping team did a phenomenal job, with rooms meticulously cleaned on a daily basis.
The culinary experience was truly outstanding. The chefs in the kitchen went above and beyond, delivering perfect dishes that changed daily, ensuring a delightful variety. Each meal was a testament to their dedication and skill, making dining a highlight of my stay. However, dinner times could get quite crowded as many tables are set with four chairs but are mostly occupied by couples, leading to a bit of a wait for seating.
The hotel's location is ideal, nestled in a picturesque spot just a short walk from several key attractions. It’s a mere 7-minute stroll to the Cleopatra beach and a 15-minute walk to where Ramira Beach number 6 is located on Cleopatra Beach.
For added convenience, a shuttle bus runs throughout the day, taking only 3-4 minutes to reach Ramira Beach. Exploring the area is a breeze with a 20-minute walk to the promenade, the Red Tower, and the historic old shipyard. Additionally, the main boulevard street is just 5 minutes away, offering easy access to local shops and amenities.
Entertainment at the hotel is vibrant and engaging. Every Wednesday and Saturday evening, guests are treated to fantastic shows, whether it be a concert or other entertaining activities. These events add a wonderful touch to the overall experience, making evenings at the hotel something to look forward to.
For those who like to stay active, the hotel features a small fitness center that, while modest, perfectly serves its purpose. It’s a great way to keep up with workouts even while on vacation.
One big and special thank you for the crew at the pool, the service, hospitality & drinks were fantastic!
One minor concern is the availability of elevators. With only two elevators serving the entire hotel, they can become quite crowded during peak times, such as when guests are heading to the beach, breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This can sometimes result in a bit of a wait.
Overall, my time at this hotel was marked by excellent service, delicious food, and a perfect location. Despite the minor inconveniences, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and...
Read moreWe enjoyed a wonderful week at the all-inclusive Ramira Joy Hotel in early October. The food offered a nice variety and was quite tasty. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained.
The staff were always friendly and helpful, although not all of them spoke English or other common languages. Despite this, communication was generally possible. The fitness room had the essentials, and the public restrooms were consistently clean.
There was always a place available by the pool, although it might not have been our preferred spots. However, there were plenty of sunny areas throughout the day.
Our room was clean and spacious enough for our stay. We also appreciated the daily provision of two bottles of water, which was a nice touch.
Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend the Ramira Joy Hotel!
Recommendations for Improvement: Alcoholic Drinks: The quality of the alcoholic beverages could be improved. The wines were unfortunately disappointing, and the cocktails were just average. Dining Space: It would be great to have more seating in the restaurant. At times, we struggled to find a free table, and I prefer not to share a table with other guests. Additional outdoor seating would also be a welcome addition. Elevator Speed: The elevators were quite slow, even with two of them available. Turkish Bath Experience: We do not recommend the Turkish bath at the hotel. The service felt rushed, and the massage was not relaxing. After the bath, I had to lie in front of a fan because the door was left wide open. Language Skills: It would be beneficial for the staff to have at least a basic knowledge of English to improve...
