We stayed here because my friend’s dentist office booked us here for 6 days. The maintenance and housekeeping staff were very nice and professional but I can’t say the same for any of the front desk staff or the spa front desk agent. The first day I arrived I paid for a deluxe spa treatment and the spa attendant was very nice and the gym looked nice but the price was not worth it. Nobody at the spa could help me break a US bill or Euro so I could top the spa attendant. The spa desk lady was busy flirting w some guy and having a long personal conversation while I stood there. The spa experience was very lacking in all ways. The outdoor pool was green and closed with no notice d there were no chairs or loungers out there so you couldn’t even relax or sun yourself. We went to the Chinese restaurant the first night of our stay for dinner after flying and traveling for 23 hours. It’s attached to the hotel (not managed by the hotel) and the restaurant hostess was lighting her cigarette inside the restaurant. They had one electronic tablet that was used at each table to access a menu. It was not cleaned once and was sticky. Because many people come here for medical treatments, people dining had bandages on their faces and heads and no one was cleaning the sticky tablet between users. The hostess charged someone else’s credit card twice instead of mine and she wouldn’t fix it or give me a receipt as proof. She ran into the hotel after the guest but couldn’t find him. She never did get the charge worked out and the hotel front desk couldn’t help me. No one spoke Chinese. It was very weird and she was hostile and it was her mistake. The room was nice but the hallway carpet needs to be cleaned, walls painted and wallpaper repaired. The hall lights are not on and it’s dark and scary when you are alone. The location is convenient to the doctor appointments we were here for and the airport but don’t book here if you want to be close to the old town area. We did enjoy using the public bus and train system one afternoon. The hotel has a weird vibe. Maybe it’s because the staff doesn’t speak English at all so they avoid making eye contact with us. The breakfast is nice and the dining room is pretty but there are about 40 people devouring the buffet at exactly 7am each day which we think may happen because the big tour buses leave from out front at 7:30am so all of those people are scrambling to eat. The forks and spoons and food would run out each morning and have to be restocked. It was a little stressful so we just stepped back and watched it like a weird movie. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very impressed with it, but today I left the hotel at 10 in the morning to do my work and came back at 10:30 in the evening. When I entered my room, I found an entry card placed in the electrical plug. At first, I thought I had entered Wrong room? How could open the door with my card ? I entered the room and confirmed that I was not mistaken. I took the other card and went down to the reception. I told him what had happened and he answered me that the cleaner had forgotten it in the room. I told him this was a guest’s entry card and not a workers’ card. He replied confirming that it was. He put the card on the device in front of him to examine it and told me that card doesn't have Entry permit ro my room . I asked him to send someone to check the room with me. If I had any thing missing in my belongings, he send a security guard with me. We entered the room i didn't found any thing missing . The guard apologized to me and left. openly. I did not find any thing missing in my belongings. But when I sat in the room, I could not get it out of my head that people might enter my room While I was in the room, I entered the bathroom. I imagined that someone had entered. I sat down for a while. I actually imagined that some one could enter the room more than 3 times. In fact, I have something missing my secure . I no longer feel secure . I just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you and share how truly amazed I am by the incredible team at your hotel. I had surgery on Tuesday and was transferred to the hotel the following day to recover – and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place to be during such a sensitive time.
From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was being looked after by a little family. The reception team are absolute stars – always smiling, always ready to help, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. You can just tell they genuinely care, and that kind of warmth is something you can’t fake. They’ve made me feel so welcome and supported every single day.
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely lady at the spa reception and wow – what a breath of fresh air. She is so kind, naturally warm, and just a joy to talk to. She made my day brighter with her energy alone and is clearly amazing at what she does. And then – the massage. I was looked after by a wonderful lady from Bali (so sorry I didn’t catch her name!) and I have to say, her hands are blessings from above. Honestly, I’ve had massages before, but this one was on another level. It felt like she was born to do this – pure natural talent. I left feeling like a new person.
There are also two lovely gentlemen I’ve seen regularly around the reception area – again, I didn’t catch their names but they deserve the biggest shout-out. They are the face of the hotel and honestly, they’ve set the tone for my entire stay. So attentive, so respectful, and just incredibly kind-hearted. They helped me in and out of taxis without me even asking, and always made sure I was okay – all from the goodness of their hearts. That kind of care is rare and deeply appreciated. I won’t forget it.
I also had lunch at the restaurant twice during my stay and each time was such a treat. The waiter (again – I should’ve written down names, sorry!) was full of smiles and just radiated positivity. It’s so lovely to see someone so natural and passionate in their role – it really makes all the difference.
In short – if I had to rate my experience from 1 to 10, it would be a solid 50! ❤️
