The worst experience ever. We arrived at a hotel near this restaurant and went out to explore and find somewhere to eat because we were starving. We were ready to eat anything. When we entered the restaurant, the first thing we noticed was how sticky the tables were. The glasses and forks were filthy—you could see the dirt without even looking closely. Even the tablet they handed us to view the menu was dirty, sticky, and broken!
We ordered two drinks and two dishes—one of them was rice with chicken and vegetables. When the food arrived, the smell was awful, and it was clear that it was old. I couldn't even eat it. I tried to convince myself to take a bite, but after the first taste, I couldn't swallow it. We didn’t even wait for the next plate. The moment the waiter was bringing the second dish, we stood up and didn't even bother to look at it. We asked for the bill, and it came to 1270 Turkish Lira.
We told them we didn’t have cash and would pay with Visa, but they didn’t accept cards. We tried to transfer the money, but that didn’t work either. The worst part? The owner was there, saw everything, and didn’t care. He looked annoyed at us while he was eating, never approached us, and didn’t bother to apologize for the terrible food or the horrible service. We ended up giving them another currency, paid, and left.
I don’t know how the pictures of this place looked decent, and the food seemed delicious online, but in reality, this was the worst restaurant experience of my life.
“Advice to anyone who passes by this restaurant:...
Read moreNo one said hi to us when we arrived and grabbed a table. Lady at host stand lit her cigarettes inside then left host station to smoke and ignore guests trying to okay their bills. You can only order on a dirty tablet at the table, many guests had surgical wraps on face or head and no one was cleaning the sticky tablet between uses. They overcharged us for a chicken rice we didn’t order instead of a plane side of rice to go w our overpriced beef dish, she ran a credit card that wasn’t mine and when I asked her for receipt for my check she couldn’t give it to me. I signed nothing. I think she double charged the man in front of me. She ran after him into the hotel we were staying at next door and caused a scene. It was scary and odd and no staff could speak English to me or Turkish w my hotel to clear up the credit card issue they caused. Do not eat there. It’s horrible...

For example, the white rice on the menu is 50 TL, they add 10% service charge but it is still 60 TL (not 55). All meals are like this. There are 3 of us, only 1 of us drinks fruit juice, 108 TL but they charged 324 TL for 3 drinks… (108 is too much for a bottle of fruit juice) The ladies there are Chinese. They don't speak English or Turkish. We told them that we only drank 1 drink, not 3, and that they needed to fix the bill. Their apologies and explanations were even funnier "they don't have what we ordered right now, so they brought us another dish and wrote 2 more fruit juices as an extra meal difference" Actually, our orders on the menu were exactly what they ordered. Come on... even the street vendor doesn't do this with impudence and acts...
