10/10 – A Truly Wonderful Stay at Hotel Meridiani Taksim
Our stay at Hotel Meridiani Taksim was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, we were treated with such care, hospitality, and attention to detail that it truly elevated our entire experience in Istanbul.
The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and ideally located in the heart of Taksim, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible staff. We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Farid, Omer, Sahra, and Mahmood – each of them went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy at all times.
Their respectful and friendly attitude made us feel completely at home. Every little detail was taken care of: our water bottles were always refilled, toiletries like shampoo were topped up without us asking, and the rooms were consistently kept spotless. It’s rare to find such genuine care and dedication, especially at a star hotel, but the team here truly made it happen.
Whether it was helping with directions, offering great recommendations, or simply checking in to see if we needed anything, the service felt personal and heartfelt. We were never treated like just another guest – we were welcomed like friends.
If you’re planning a stay in Istanbul and want a place where you’ll feel valued, comfortable, and truly looked after, Hotel Meridiani Taksim is the perfect choice. We’re grateful for the memories and can’t wait to return someday.
Thank you again to the entire team – you made our trip special. 10/10, highly...

✅ Positives: • Helpful staff, some speak Arabic, making communication easier. • Strong & free WiFi throughout the hotel. • Affordable price, but hotel facilities need improvement. • Air conditioning & heating worked well after an initial issue. • Airport transfer available (but costly at €50 per trip).
❌ Negatives: • Very bad location! To reach Taksim Square, you must climb a steep hill (61m), which is exhausting. The area feels unsafe at night. • No daily cleaning, my room was not cleaned at all during my stay. • Bed was uncomfortable, and the blanket caused itchiness. • Noisy environment, construction outside and constant toilet noises in the room. • No free water in the room, and reception told me to buy it from outside, even at midnight! • Weak facilities, the lobby was below average, just a coffee table and a water cooler.
Final Verdict: If you want a budget-friendly stay near Taksim, this hotel may work for you. But be prepared for the exhausting uphill walk or use taxis. Services could be...
