Görkem Apart Otel — Hotel in Fethiye

Friendly and pretty Apart Hotel in a quiet location.||Our room was small, but clean, the bathroom facilities being in exceptionally good order for an Apart Hotel. The mattresses are very soft and springy. ||Cleaning was not well organised on the first day of our stay the room was not cleaned until around 5pm and the second day at 6 pm I had to go and ask for the bin to be emptied and two replacement towels. They were all provided speedily and the cleaners offered to clean the room, explaining they were behind because other guests had left late. We declined as we were leaving the next day and were tired after a day in the sun. I don't think a swing top bin in the bathroom is very hygienic given the current worldwide health crisis. ||The breakfast buffet was very good, with a great variety.||Apart from hand sanitiser on the bar, which not given to guests they were not obvious hand sanitation offered on or near the buffet or on the breakfast tables. No temperatures were taken and no HES codes required on arrival. Very strange as hotels in the same province of Turkey require/or offer this regularly.||I forgot my swimsuit which was a shame as the pool is quite long.||The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I do speak some Turkish, just require some time. We would like to stay again when it is not so hot (air-conditioning in the room...

This was our first trip to Gocek. We really like the town and trully enjoy the place. The breakfast was in perfect size and variety. The staff were so kind and helpful. They came and checked the room everyday and changed the towels as needed. There is a balcony that u can sit and relax. In our room we had a fridge and water heater for coffe and tea. There was a tırkish tea maker, too (çaydanlık). My only concern is related to the pressure of the water in the shower. I had no problem, however my friend was out of water for two times because of his timing. Do not take your shower at a rush hour 😉

As a side note: Confirm your reservation upon your arrival. The son arranged our reservation without his mothers' knowledge ... they resolved the issue in a really kind way but there is no need for an unpleasant moments while you are on...

Quaint family owned hotel in Gocek. Starting with the manager Elif & her husband they welcome you to their clean hotel. A beautiful Pool area with umbrellas & pads for the chairs. Breakfast was very good and fresh. ||Gorkem is one cousin who works here and while we had a language barrier because of my limited Turkish he always had a smile and made sure any requests I had were taken care. ||If you enjoy a gin & tonic please be sure to have Nuri prepare it. Fresh and refreshing. ||The exterior is very deceiving from both sides of the street but Gorkem is an oasis just a 2 minute walk into the center of Gocek. Would definitely return! ||Elif had former experience in both Istanbul & USA in hotels and service and it shows....
