Ozcan Restaurant — Restaurant in Fethiye

When I was planning my trip, I was excited to try the seafood in Gocek and had a particular restaurant in mind. Most seafood places there display their fresh catch at the entrance, but when I arrived, I found the seafood at that restaurant wasn’t as fresh as I was expecting. I searched around for other options without much luck until I came across Ozcan, which had an impressive selection of really fresh seafood.

At first, the staff told me the restaurant was full and there were no available tables, so I had to return later. It was worth the wait the food that I ordered was very fresh and delicious, and the service was excellent.

The only drawback is the difficulty of getting a table. Even when I checked online reviews, the main complaint from customers seemed to be the same limited table availability.

Although this place has great fish, service is just terrible. We went there once and all waiters were clearly overloaded and didn’t care about us. We had to chase someone to make an extra order or get a bill. No one ever asked how we are doing or whether we want something.

People who work there are rude and clearly not interested in having you as client. It looks very surprising, considering how welcoming and pleasant are other restaurants in Turkey.

On other days this place was constantly “full if you don’t have reservation”, although it looked half empty at the time we asked. So there is a clear problem with the way how they do booking and plan restaurant capacity as well.

Agree completely with the last review appalling service the worst we have had and we have travelled to a lot of places . We waited 45 mins for the starter to arrive it was just thrown down on our table , when the fish arrived 25 mins later the same put on the table and walked away ,no one asked was the food ok we could not attract the attention of the overworked grumpy staff .
