Review of Manaspark Hotel September 2025.||I stayed at Manaspark for two weeks at the end of August with my partner. Unfortunately, this was my least favourite stay in Ölüdeniz.||Rooms:|We were initially given a dark room behind the restaurant with no mirror except in the bathroom and very poor lighting. After two days of complaints, we ended up paying around €150 extra for a pool-view room, which was much better, but really just had the basics that should have been included in the first place. The cleaning was below standard — the room was dusty, under the beds clearly hadn’t been touched, and the shower leaked badly every night. Also to add the room was on the ground floor so the balcony was just outside facing a black window of the main restaurant with a hot generator blowing air, wasn’t great.||Food & Drink:|The food was very poor. Both of us had stomach upsets, and hygiene in the restaurant was questionable — lids left off food, flies around, and cutlery often running out. My partner was even served raw chicken twice from the grill station. Complaints to reception about this went nowhere; the manager was never available and never reached out to us.|Breakfast was limited unless you like oily omelettes or continental options. At lunch, choices were heavy meals like soups, roast beef, pasta dishes, not ideal in the heat. The pool bar offered small portions so we would literally have to order 2/3 plates each, and I’m a size 10 — I ended up eating the same Turkish flatbread daily. Burgers and kebabs were poor quality, the bread was hard and the meat didn’t taste nice. My partner also just ate chips and chicken tenders everyday. Drinks were another issue: service was slow, cocktails inconsistent, some were nice, others not drinkable, after a few days we found one or two barmen that would make them nice and we tipped, but they weren’t always on shift. |There was a new barman during the end of our stay that was making brilliant cocktails on his second day which leads me to believe the more tenured staff just couldn’t be bothered. The 24-hour bar was more like a bar in a library, after 11pm the music was switched off so if you wanted a few drinks it was in silence.||Entertainment & Activities:|Despite reviews, there is no real animation team — just one man who appeared in the afternoons. He was quite lazy in my opinion, you wouldn’t hear him on a mic or anything he’d just speak to the usual Turkish guests and that’s about it. When we asked about activities like volleyball or water polo, we were told guests weren’t interested and the Turkish don’t like pool games. Entertainment at night was decent but repetitive, with the same shows you see at other hotels in the area. There was no kids’ disco, no music before shows, and overall the atmosphere was flat. We don’t have children but felt for the families that did as there was nothing for them day or night.||I stayed in another all inclusive in Olu deniz in the past year and they also had bingo, you had to pay the same amount but the prizes where brilliant.. the prizes we got in manaspark went into the bin, and considering there’s a lot of fake handbags in turkey and then to win a plain one that could be on a shelf in primark is another example of the hotels standards. Again in the hotel prior to this we won a handbag off the strip and a free boat trip.||Facilities & Cleanliness:|The grounds and views are nice, but the pool area is run-down. Broken decking, nails sticking out, dirty pool, and damaged grids around the pool made it feel neglected. Sunbed covers weren’t changed daily either, which is unhygienic as they were fabric and people be lying all day sweating on them. The bar areas were messy, with collected glasses left stacked up for hours and one evening the popcorn machine was overflowing onto the bar and we witnessed one member of staff just scoop it up with their hands and throw it back in. ||Location:|The hotel is up a very steep hill, around 15 minutes from town. Walking back at night is dark and difficult, so we resorted to taxis every evening. We are also in our 20s and would not be able for the walk uphill in the heat. You wouldn’t hear be better off staying in Olu deniz or Hisarönü (hisaronu if you want the views)||Staff:|Some staff were excellent — especially one man in the restaurant who worked tirelessly and stayed polite despite the chaos. In general, though, staff seemed undertrained, overworked, and struggled with English.||Overall:|This hotel has potential — the views are lovely and a few staff really try — but the poor food, hygiene, lack of organisation, and absence of proper entertainment ruined the experience for us. Having stayed in other all-inclusives in Ölüdeniz, I can confidently say this one is below standard. If you’re English, I would recommend avoiding it. I made the best of my holiday, but I will not be returning. The hotel grounds need a lot of work to upkeep them and this hotel was probably stunning when it was first built but not now.||As we left the hotel pretty much everyday to find decent food or entertainment we got chatting to the security man ‘Etkin’, such a lovely kind man and was always working...
Read moreReview from August 2022 It is our last day of our 10 night stay here. This is a five star review of a great great resort but nowhere is perfect and everywhere can improve. Myself and my husband and my parents both had a room each (private pool rooms 2102 and 2104) on the photos I have added of the pool where you can see both wooden sides is our room 2102 and the larger outside area but less view down to the sea as covered by bushes is 2104. So starting with the rooms absolutely fantastic yes don't get me wrong slightly dated but they like there dark wood over here don't they but very clean and huge rooms - I haven't been to many hotels where the minibar is free and restocked everyday including beer but also chocolate and some snacks too! The private pools are definitely worth the extra money they were quite large in size the photos don't do them justice - room 2104 has a very large outside area with four sun beds and outdoor shower but with less of a view as there is bushes covering but the pool sizes are all exactly the same - room 2102 still has a great balcony with table and chairs and two sunbeds enough room with the most excellent view and it kept the sun longer on an evening. These pools are quite private also and very quiet on a night although the 24hr bar is near it's set back with the relax pool above so literally didn't hear a thing on a night. These rooms have the best views down to the sea but I think most rooms do here with the hotels positioning and unlike some resorts it's a two minute walk to the bar from your room also if you want something which is not in the minibar. Aircon is very cold the beds are so comfy I cannot tell you - huge TV but couldn't get any English channels to work -we didn't care but some people might. Jacuzzi bath tubs in the rooms again which were fantastic lovely lights under the bed my only slight criticism but we've had this with other hotels in Turkey is you need more light in the bedrooms. Also in our room when you were in the shower you struggled to see to shave your legs as there was no light in the shower in the bathroom with the dark shower walls makes it tough however in my parents room that was not a problem as all four private pool rooms are laid out slightly different. Easy access to Oludeniz literally a five minute walk down but not sure I could tackle the hill on the way back up in the main daytime heat as it's a big slope out of the hotel. Taxis to hisaronu 70 lira 50 to oludeniz around 70-100 to ovacik (the lira is currently 20.5 to £1 | would recommend changing money over here. The main mealtime in Restaurants always seems to let me down in Turkey (see my post from Antalya in April) I think evening meal times should have more structure where either you book a time and there's a table reserved or you get a buzzer and go to the bar until your table is available something like that not a free for all where you are not seated to a table - admittedly we only ate in the hotel three nights as we planned to go out for the meals on this holiday but of all three nights no matter what time we went we really struggled to find a table and when we did fine one with used things on the waiters did not hurry to come and clean but there's probably 35 tables in the restaurant and the selection of food is small. I like Turkish food but I don't think I could have enjoyed eating here every night- there was nothing wrong with the quality of food just not much choice - lots of salad and fruit options but in terms of actual hot food meal choices not many at all - again this might not bother some people but l enjoy a varied selection. The same goes for lunch and breakfast really but no struggle to get a table. Turkish style breakfast which I like but personally not much variety for my taste. Drinks are all branded we are talking Gordon's pink gin and lemonade standard with lots of cocktails the beer is efes - you cannot fault the drinks - great snack bar 2-5pm all waiter service where you can choose what you want and it is freshly cooked they offer the same...
Read moreA nicely presented hotel with some great views in a decent location for a relaxing get away but it does have some areas for improvement. I've just returned from 11 days at Manaspark and me and my partner enjoyed our time there. We went for a relaxing break before winter and got it, for the most part. Location - the hotel is about a 10-15 min walk away from the Ölüdeniz strip and beach. The hotel is situated on a hill itself up from the town so if not fit, the walk back will take an extra 5 mins on the walk to town. Also the slope within the hotel grounds is quite steep, though there are stairs for half of it, my 20w pregnant partner did struggle a little so keep this in mind. Facilities - We booked a deluxe room as reviews had shown this was the newer side of the hotel and it was worth it. The rooms were fairly spacious, well decorated and appointed. There was good air con, a rainfall shower and a big 40 odd inch satellite tv, though only about 3 English channels out of literally thousands. The bed was of a good quality as was the bedding but you do only get a thin blanket. There is free wifi here and it reaches every single part of the hotel with ease, even about 30 foot off the property into town. There is a little kids area down the bottom of the hill but we didn't really look at it. There is a little shop on site selling little bits and bobs like cans of pop, crisps, sweets, pool accessories and single packs of cigarettes. Food - There is a reasonably sized restaurant for the size of the hotel. The quality of the food was ok, mostly meats in sauces buffet style with a few fresh cooking stations for pasta and varied meats/one desert station in the evening though the quality of the cuts of meat could be lacking at times. There is also a cold savory section with things like olives, pickles etc. Deserts were all what I assume was Turkish as none were labelled, some were very nice and some were very odd but it was a bit of a lottery, the fresh cooked desert was usually quite nice like pancakes or apple fritters. The snack bar serves burgers, pides and chips at certain times of the day. The service in the restaurant however was it's biggest let down, this is one of the main areas that needs its standards improving massively for this hotel to hit the next level. Pools, bars and entertainment - Generally, the pools and bars were kept clean and were presented well, the sun beds were very plentiful, very comfortable and a fresh towel was provided each day on each bed so there was no need for your own beach towel and we never had to fight for a sunbed in a decent location, even going down after lunch. There is also a grassed area by the garden bar with swinging seats, hammocks and big bean bag type things dotted around which was a nice place to go and chill with a drink and look at the view. The bars serve Tuborg lager, branded fizzy drinks, a couple of fruit juices (very sugary at the garden bar but not the pool/terrace bar), one brand of red and white wine, hot drinks and some local spirits that were ok. The garden bar is open 24/7 which is quite a nice novelty. There is music piped around the place all day at a reasonable volume, it's the same 60 or so songs repeated for the most part but was pleasant enough. The entertainment on the night was ok, the only real issue with it was the fact that it was piped loudly through the speaker system and regularly went on until midnight and was very loud. Although I have pointed out a few negatives in this I would like to say that this is me finding fault, generally the hotel is the best in the area, in a good location, has friendly staff, has great views and both me and my partner have said we would visit again in the future despite the little issues as you could see they were trying to improve the place (owner was visible on site, all day, every day) and given the cost, this place is great value for money at that time of year. With a few tweaks and the owner continuing to take the place forwards I can only see it improving...
