I just HAVE to tell you about this gem of a restaurant I visited recently. It's called the Secret Garden, and oh boy, it's everything you'd imagine and more! If Google let me, I'd totally give it 6 stars!
Stepping into the Secret Garden is like stepping into a delicious dream. From the moment you walk in, the warmth of the place just hits you. And I'm not just talking about the food, which, by the way, was absolutely on point!
But what makes this place super special is the people running it. I mean, the restaurant manager and staff were next level. They greet you right at the entrance like you're a long-lost friend visiting them after ages. I felt like a VIP and it's not something you experience every day!
And the food... oh, the food. It was heavenly. I swear, every bite was bursting with flavours. It was like my tastebuds were having a party and every dish was an honored guest! I can't even pick a favorite because they were all SO good.
Now, here's the kicker - as if the amazing food and super friendly staff weren't enough, they shook my hand as I was leaving, making sure I had a great time. It felt so genuine, you know? Like they really cared about not just the food, but the whole experience. And let me tell you, they totally nailed it!
To wrap it up, if you're looking for a place with crazy good food, and a team that makes you feel like you're the guest of honor, Secret Garden is the spot. I'm telling you, this place is a solid 5-star experience, nah, make it 6 in my heart. Can't...
Read moreAvoid. Nice looking place at first glance, however the food is not any good. The traditional turkish chicken dish isn't edible, very dry and no cheese although the menu says it has cheese inside. My partner forced less than half of it down, to try and avoid wasting it. The sides it came with were terrible too - very dry potato, old dry slices of raw carrot, bland rice and some other unappetising bits of salad. My main was a tomato pasta, passable very very basic. Starters were garlic mushrooms which looked terrible on the plate but tasted nice. Cheese pastry rolls as starter were also nice (hard to get wrong!) The server was nice but the owner was very rude. I asked if he could please discount my partners meal by 50% as it wasn't any good and was inedible and he said no, said he told my partner the dish was dry and he should have ordered a wet dish with sauce (what?! 😂) and stormed off. He was very rude and seemed personally offended. Everything in this restaurant seems to be stuck in the 70s including the menu and recipes. Very few vegetarian options. Owner is very young and doesn't seem to know...

we have ordered a meal and 2 cokes. Everything was quite nice until we got a check. When we were ordering from the menu, the coke was 90lira. To our surprise we were charged 190lira for a glass of coke! MORE THAN DOUBLE
We have asked the waitress why the amount has doubled. She said, well we gave you a large cola, it’s 190. I asked her to show me this price on the menu, she said it’s 90 on the menu.
Apparently 300ml coke is 90lira, and 500ml coke is 190lira (what is this math???) every alcoholic drink on the menu has 2 prices for small and large, however not soft drinks.
We were offended and said that it’s extremely inappropriate to charge double the price from the menu if the client wasn’t informed beforehand. She said “I can’t do anything about it, you drunk it”. After arguing she said the boss gave us a 30lira discount (kind soul! Very generous for a scammer)
To sum up: SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO ELSEWHERE. In the bars that provide actual show, you can get a beer...
