Simisso Hotel — Hotel in İlkadım

The Yafeya is right at the entrance to the city, off the main road that runs along the Black Sea. We had a view of the busy square below, the water, the tram line, city, and mountains -- very dramatic. Of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our 2-week trip, this was the most 'normal'. The room was spacious, clean, in working order, big window (opened slightly), 2 beds of equal size, and an excellent breakfast buffet. I especially appreciated the choice of 3 flavors of halva at breakfast. Also liked the large dog sleeping in the entrance to the hotel. We lucked out in being able to leave our car right in front of the hotel.||Our guidebook didn't give an encouraging review of Samsun, but for our one night stay we saw the old covered clothing district, the old clock tower, the Gazi Museum (if you are a fan of Ataturk, and you should be if only for his looks, you will be in heaven in this free museum dedicated to his career and haberdashery), and the City Museum, which is up-to-date with recordings that activate as you move from room to room. At this museum we admired the receptionist's ring and she walked us to the street where we could find the shop that sells the ring (we bought it). Staff at first was so sweet, but then they showed us the real face . When we came there I said that i wanted room for 3 person, I showed the price on internet and stuff said that the internet priceswere lower and then said that we can do 3000 without breakfest. then she said she would give me discount and for 2800 without breakfest and for 3200 with breakfest , I agreed with breakfest one and when we came in with our things they said that they gave this price for 2 person when she even said that she could give me 2 seperate beds. and the prices went all up because there appiered more clients and they could sell those rooms for even more money . so its al about...

Верю, что когда-то давно отель был великолепен, сейчас же от былой красоты мало что осталось. Только по лобби и зонам отдыха можно предположить, что все было ...но ооочень давно. Требует не просто ремонта и реставрации, а срочного и капитального ремонта.|Мебель, ковролин - все старое, истертое, из прошлого века; стены в трещинах. Ванная невероятно маленькая, совмещённая с туалетом - войти и закрыть дверь, не задев унитаза невозможно. Душ приколочен намертво и под него не влезть и не помыться нормально, т.к. не регулируется ни высота, ни наклон, тупо льет в одну точку; повсюду ржавчина и плесень. |Завтрак не понравился, особенно в плане санитарных условий - например, хлеб лежит открыто и отрезается от общего батона самостоятельно, т.е. каждый облапывает его своими руками. Продукты самые дешёвые, невкусно.|Такое странное впечатление, будто тут время остановилось и отель живёт в прошлом, постепенно истлевая.|Otel oldukça yıpranmış, mobilya, perde, klima çok eski. Banyo çok küçük, küflü, paslanmış, duş duvara yapıştırılmış ( kimse çalmasını diye galiba) ondan güzelce duş almak şansınız yok. |Kahvaltı kötü.
