Be Careful – Attempted Overcharge at Reception

I had a very disappointing experience during check-in at this hotel. We initially asked for a room for three people, and the receptionist told us the price was 2000 TL, which matched what I had seen on Booking.com. Everything seemed normal at first.

However, after handing over our IDs and preparing to pay, the receptionist entered 3000 TL into the POS terminal. When we questioned the amount, he claimed he had already told us the price was 3000 TL – which was completely false.

When I showed him the actual price on Booking.com, he started giving excuses, saying “that room is already full” and similar vague justifications. It felt like he was trying to scam us by changing the price at the last moment, hoping we wouldn’t notice.

This kind of dishonest behavior at the front desk is unacceptable and ruins trust in the establishment. I strongly advise future guests to double-check the price before paying and have everything clearly confirmed in writing to avoid any surprises.

This is outrageous. First, you tried to overcharge us, and now you’re accusing me of lying. Why would I make up a story like this in a public review?

Here are the facts:

After asking how much a room for three people would cost, the person at the front desk told us 2000 TL. I clearly remember this because I immediately converted the amount to euros on my phone to compare it with the price on Booking.com. The conversion showed about 42 euros, and since the price on Booking.com was 46 euros including breakfast, we agreed to take the room.

But when it was time to pay, the staff member suddenly entered 3000 TL into the POS terminal. I immediately asked why, and told him he had clearly said 2000 TL. I even showed him the Booking.com price, which confirmed what we were expecting.

He denied everything and claimed the price was always 3000 TL. Since it was already around 10:30 PM and we were tired, I tried to resolve the situation by offering 2500 TL. He refused and said the final price was 2850 TL.

At that point, we decided to leave the hotel.

Instead of owning up to this behavior, the hotel is now trying to deny the facts and discredit me as a guest. This kind of dishonesty and lack of professionalism...

Mix masaj aldım birde haa klasik olmasın ki daha cok ilgilensin diye. Ama sonuç ne? çıkıp tekrar duş aldım. Jakuzi havuz yalan ici bos jakuzi olsa ne olur havuzun derinliği ne?? İci bos havuz mu olur?? Bir tek sauna da terlemek icin gidecekseniz vallahi gidin onun haricinde masaj salonunun yanından geçilmez. Ama intg. Da oyle reklam konulmuş ki (orda beklerken o reklamlara kanıp gelenleri gordum) sanırsınız masaj burada doğmuş ve cok profesyonel bir ekip var. Ve hatta cinselliği tema alan paylaşımlarda konmuş ki müşteriler gelsin. Başarmışlar da. İçerde mutlu sonlu bir durum yok eyvallah ta eee instg reklamlarınızı görüp gelenleri kandırmış oluyorsunuz resmen. Gerci ben sadece masaja geldim ne buldum ki onlara üzülüyorum. 카이세리에 조금 오래 머물면서 느긋하게 편하게 지내는 겸, 공항과도 그리 멀지 않고 주로 돌아다닐 곳과 접근성이 좋아서 이곳으로 선택했습니다 저한테는 가격도 합리적이었네요!

2024년 3월 기준 1박 약 4만원(1000tl, 당시 환율 41.4)

저는 걷는 것을 좋아해서 위치가 정말 좋았습니다 호텔 직원분들도 엄청 친절했어요 아쉬운 건 영어를 하지 못하는 직원도 있었던 점

제가 묵던 방은 여행 막바지에 화장실 변기가 고장나서 방을 바꿔서 자야 했고, 자세히 들여다 보면 단점이 보이긴 하지만 그 단점들을 직원들의 서비스와 친절함으로 전부 커버가 되는 수준이었습니다 불만이 없었던 당연히 아니지만 평점을 깎을 정도는 아니었어요

큰 도로가 바로 앞에 있어서 차 소리가 조금 들리고 창문을 다 열어 놓으면 매연냄새가 올라오니 주의하셔야 합니다 주차할 자리도 조금 있어서 괜찮았습니다

조식은 무료, 오전 7시부터 10시까지 가능합니다 지하에 스파도 있던데 못했던 건 조금 아쉽네요ㅎㅎ

화장실에 샤워 젤과 샴푸는 있지만 컨디셔너가 없으니 혹시 오시는 분들은 참고하시면 좋을 것 같습니다

While staying in Kaiserie for a little longer and relaxing, I chose this place because it's not too far from the airport and it's mainly accessible to places to get around. The price was reasonable for me!

I love walking, so the location was really nice. The hotel staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, some of the staff couldn't speak English

The room I stayed in had to change rooms because the toilet was broken at the end of the trip, and if you look closely, you can see shortcomings, but all of those shortcomings were covered by the service and kindness of the staff. Of course, I had no complaints, but I didn't cut my rating

There's a big road right in front of hotel, so you can hear a little bit of car noise, and if you open all the windows, you can smell smoke. There were some parking spaces, so it was okay

Breakfast is for free and available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m There's a spa in the basement floor, so it's a bit unfortunate that I couldn't use it
