Read moreI arrived at the hotel last night and booked two nights. I was given room 705, but the room was extremely hot due to a malfunctioning air conditioner. I spoke to the lobby staff several times throughout the night asking for help, but the only response I received was that the AC was working, despite clear evidence it was not. After repeatedly requesting assistance, I was eventually just given a fan, which was not an acceptable solution, and my wife and I were unable to sleep due to the heat. The situation was uncomfortable to the point that we were both close to experiencing heat exhaustion. This morning, after raising the issue again, we were moved to room 201. While it’s slightly better, the air conditioning still does not cool properly. I also asked for compensation for the terrible experience we had the previous night, as we did not receive the comfort or service we paid for. I was told the manager would arrive within an hour. However, each time I followed up, I was told the manager was either not available or coming later. After several hours of being given different answers, I finally insisted and was taken to a back room where I spoke with a gentleman who simply repeated that compensation was not possible. Let me be very clear: I am not here to argue or demand anything unreasonable. I am simply asking to be compensated fairly for a night where we did not receive what we paid for. The delay, confusion, and lack of communication have already taken a toll on our time and peace of mind during our vacation. I expect a proper response and compensation for last night. I hope this can be resolved respectfully and without further delay. I did report and file a complaint to the ministry of tourism and they are handling the case. I will NOT recommend this...
