Life Corner Hotel — Hotel in Konak

This hotel is far from what it claims to be. It advertises itself as a four-star hotel, but in reality, it barely reaches the standards of a two-star. The rooms are small, poorly designed, and far from inviting, with very old furniture bearing burn marks and an overall sense of neglect. The lights, some of which weren’n’t even working - only added to the gloomy atmosphere.

Cleanliness is a major concern. The hotel simply does not feel well-maintained, and the so-called spa is no exception. Rather than a space for relaxation, it seems a feast for germs, as if no one has cared for it in a long time.

The staff was unhelpful, largely due to the language barrier. Like it or not, English has become essential in the tourism industry, yet communication here was nearly impossible.

As for the breakfast—let’s just say it was a disappointing experience that might ruin more than just your appetite.

It’s hard to understand or trust the positive reviews that led us to choose this hotel in first place. Our experience was completely different, and we can’t help but wonder how such feedback came to be.

Given all these issues, I cannot recommend this...

I made a reservation at the Life Corner Hotel. It has 3 stars. When we arrived they sent us to the Grand Corner Hotel. They told us at the front desk that they were sending us to another hotel of theirs, but it has 4 stars. They told us that they had some technical problems (but we had booked on booking). The Grand Corner Hotel had no stars anywhere, neither on the building, nor on the reception or on advertising materials.

The experience was unpleasant. From our room we could hear, through the bathroom, EVERYTHING being spoken in the next room where friends of ours were staying. The breakfast was poor, very poor. Some of the switches were not working. For example, the bed switches didn't work. To turn off the light I got out of bed and turned it off from the hallway. Nightstands wrer away from the bed. The windows didn't close tightly and they seemed to sleep with the window open. The hotel is located in an area that seems to be not very good. At night there are all kind of shady people standing on the street for at least 1 km. In the morming that street smells of urine... Would not...
