During my trip I traveled alone with my toddler. We booked through TUI and was assured it was a family hotel which I would agree it’s good for families and kids. Before my trip I sent an email and asked if I could have a pool / beach view room because since I’m alone with a toddler who takes naps I wanted to still be able to sit outside and enjoy the view and weather while he was asleep instead of sitting in the dark room for 2 hours a day. I didn’t get a reply from my email so I decided to ask again upon arrival. I decided to check it out first and see how my room view was and pleasant isn’t the word I’d use to describe it.. (picture 3). My ‘mountain view’ room was the street in front of the hotel where the employees park and what looked to be a water heater and electrical equipment with large danger signs all over.. the mountain was not even in view and the noise from the street made it impossible to sit outside and have any sort of peace. Not to mention my patio was completely in the sun all day and with no shade you simply can’t be out there. I asked multiple times to switch rooms on the second day (we got there late the first night) and was told each time to either come back and ask later or that they were booked out. When I came back to speak with the manager (as directed) I explained why I wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy time during my sons naps and he said ok and gave me a new room. I said I had to hurry and move so I had about 15 minutes to repack all my stuff and move it alone, with my toddler across the hotel but I didn’t care, I threw all my crap in the bag and managed. Our new room was much bigger and the view was perfect! The balcony was in the shade and it changed the entire experience immediately. It was also on the ground floor which was super nice so I didn’t have to drag the stroller up and down the elevator 20 times a day. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. Overall I was expecting a bit more (poor quality furniture / building and music blasting until late at night) but it was kept clean and the staff were all very friendly. There is also a bazar and mini - shop located in the hotel so you can grab anything you need quick right there which is nice. The beach is a 10 minute walk away and it’s not a super pleasant walk but the private beach area is really nice. It says you have to pay extra for beach chairs but I was never asked to. 🤷🏼♀️ the food was decent, it felt like it was basically the same thing every day and that lots were leftovers. You can also eat an an à la cart restaurant there once for free (Italian or Turkish food) and with a toddler I had to choose Italian. I’m very happy I didn’t pay for that meal because it was the same stuff they had upstairs in the buffet just with very small portions and long wait times.. the night before my flight I went to go ask what time the shuttle was coming to pick us up and the manager was in a hurry to help me. He printed out the paper for me then leaned in and said ‘I still haven’t gotten anything’ and obviously I looked confused. He repeated himself and so I said ‘what?’ And he continued to tell me about how I should be thankful (give him money) that he switched my room because normally they don’t do that and he didn’t have to but he wanted to me nice.. I didn’t know what to say because like ??? What…? I pretended not to understand him since he doesn’t speak English and German isn’t my native language (German IS the language spoken here) and was sort of appalled at the greediness and lack of respect overall that the manager of the hotel was mad I didn’t tip him for doing his literal job.. he got mad when I didn’t understand and rolled his eyes and told me to have a good night.. If I had planned on tipping him it would’ve been shut down after that...
Read moreThe worst hotel I have ever stayed at with a child!
I stayed at this hotel with my child from July 5 to July 16, and it was the most terrible experience of all our trips.
We arrived late in the evening, and they couldn’t check us in until 11:30 PM! Just imagine: a tired child, the heat, and the staff didn’t even try to help. I had to call the tour operator TezTour to somehow move things along. When we finally got the keys, it turned out that the room had a broken air conditioner, and it was impossible to stay there – stuffy air and a smell of dampness. The staff reacted slowly, indifferently, and without the slightest desire to help.
There is no basic service here. The drinking water that should be provided in the room was either not delivered at all or given just one small bottle for two people, which is clearly not enough. Bed linen and towels were changed very rarely, and the cleaning was just superficial – dust, dirt, and unpleasant smells remained.
There is absolutely nothing for children or families. There are no activities or entertainment at all – neither during the day nor in the evening. On weekends it’s even worse – total silence, boredom, and complete indifference to guests.
The room is in terrible condition: old, shabby furniture, broken hairdryer, empty soap dispenser, faulty outlets. It’s obvious that the hotel hasn’t been renovated for a long time and no one cares about the comfort of guests.
The food is monotonous and tasteless. The choice is minimal, and some dishes didn’t even look fresh. In the dining area there were constant queues, dirty tables, and the staff couldn’t keep up with cleaning. There was hardly any suitable food for a child.
The territory is poorly maintained, the pool is small and not always clean. There are not enough sunbeds, and the ones that are available are old and broken.
What’s especially frustrating is that the hotel does not match its stated category or star rating at all. The photos on the website and in brochures are heavily edited and have nothing to do with reality. In the pictures it looks like a beautiful, modern complex, but in reality it’s an outdated building with broken infrastructure and no proper service.
And the most outrageous thing is that this “vacation” cost us 2000 euros, and it’s completely unclear what we paid for! No comfort, no proper service, no safe conditions for a child – just a complete disappointment.
It feels like the management is cutting costs on everything – cleaning, maintenance, service, food, and even guest safety.
I’m a mother, and it’s especially important for me that my child can rest in cleanliness, safety, and comfort. But in this hotel there is nothing like that! This is truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at with my child.
I strongly do NOT recommend this hotel to families with children or anyone at all. If you don’t want to ruin your vacation and your child’s mood – choose...
Read moreI can't belive all the complaining people... Like they went to a different hotel. We loved our stay, we played volleyball, swam in the pool and the sea, got everything we wanted from the staff (we don't speak any german) and just had a good time. I think some people should get a grip on what they pay for. This hotel is at the lower half of the all inclusive price range, you will get a service that is also in the lower half. ||||so lets go through some complaints:||||1) Nobody speaks English. ||||Simply not true. We talked to 3 different people at the lobby, everybody at the front desk spoke English to an acceptable level. Don't speak fast, don't try the most complicated words and advanced grammar you know and it will be fine. They explained us everything about the towels, the announcements (we had a forest fire a few kms away) were in both German and English. The kithcen staff really doesn't speak a lot, but they want to understand. So if you pouint at stuff, they will give it to you. They won't do that American style smiling and making you feel special, but as long as you are nice, they will try. If you scream and ask for the management, they will probably leave you, they are not trained for Karens.||||2) food is bad/same every day||||It is not the same every day. We had taco night, fish night, every day was different. The salad bar, the vegetable dishes and the desserts were absolutely amazing, I didn't like the chicken and the turkey so much, it was mediocore, my bf liked the beef dishes.||||3) drinks||||I have to give that to the complaining people. The juices are terrible in the all inclusive. They are like that stuff they gave us in shcool at the 90s. We mostly had water and tea, but you can get coke, fanta, ect. Beer/cocktails are truly bad, but I guess you shouldn't travel to a muslim country and expect good alcohol. If it counts for you, pick another country that has culture in it. We didn't really mind, so the drinks were ok for me, because I love sparking water with lemon and they had that.||||4) gym||||I know it doesn't matter for most, but the gym could do with an upgrade. I could train, the machines work, but they are old, and it makes no sense that it is only open 10-18. What could happen? Someone steals a 10+ year old treadmill? It should be open all day.||||5) noise/rooms||||We liked our room, it was clean the bed was comfy and it was quiet. The AC works, you just have to close the balcony door to get it work.... They explained it to us at the front desk, you just have to ask..... The rooms looking at the pool and the sea are more noisy, the ones looking the other way don't have the nice view, but we couldn't hear the noise from the pool. The hotel is also full of little kids, if the one next to you scream all day and all night, you...
